Product Engineer (Test Engineer – Loads & Complete Vehicle Durability)
Responsible for developing and executing durability test plans for complete vehicles, including instrumentation, data analysis, and failure investigation, ensuring validation of automotive components under accelerated conditions.
- Development of test plans and technical reports;
- Definition of instrumentation points and signal analysis (strain gauges, acceleration);
- Planning and definition of accelerated durability tests schedules on proving grounds;
- Failure analysis and improvement proposals;
- Collaboration with global multidisciplinary teams.
- Bachelor degree in Mechanical, Materials, Automotive Engineering, or related fields;
- Postgraduate degree or Master’s in mechanical/automotive/materials engineering;
- Experience developing accelerated durability procedures on vehicles and validating automotive components;
- Strong knowledge of strength of materials, machine elements, metallic material fatigue, and mechanical vibrations;
- Experience with vehicle instrumentation, data acquisition systems (e.g., HBK, Siemens, Dewesoft), data analysis of experimental data from physical tests, focusing on strain gauge and acceleration signals;
- Proficiency with data analysis software (Advanced Excel, NI Diadem, NI Code Glyphworks, MATLAB);
- Familiarity with data analysis and task automation in Python.
- Development of test plans and technical reports;
