Product Manager (12-month FTC)
Salary: £70,000 - 70,000 per year
Requirements:- We need someone educated to degree level or equivalent.
- You should be able to own product strategy and drive a medium- to long-term roadmap.
- You should be able to influence senior stakeholders and work effectively across business and technical teams.
- You need strong analytical and problem-solving capability, with a focus on customer journey optimisation.
- You should be able to lead and facilitate workshops and meetings to elicit requirements.
- You need excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- You should be able to produce high-quality supporting artefacts for product development.
- You need outstanding collaboration and teamworking skills.
- Experience working in a cross-functional agile or product environment would be highly valuable.
- We define and execute a comprehensive product roadmap and backlog across multiple capabilities.
- We shape, design and deliver features that support our Product Delivery Stream vision and business goals.
- We use data, research and senior stakeholder input to design medium- to long-term product strategy.
- We act as the voice of the customer within scrum teams to support high-quality customer experiences.
- We monitor market trends, competitor activity and industry developments.
- We coordinate ideation and work with cross-functional teams to achieve Definition of Ready.
- We validate technical feasibility with relevant teams.
- We define epics and features for delivery in releasable increments.
- We define and map optimal customer journeys and processes, with clear measurement and continuous improvement.
- We identify cost and inefficiencies and design improved processes.
- We prioritise and deliver the 0-3 month roadmap iteratively.
- We manage and maintain a well-prioritised product backlog with stakeholders.
- We review analytics, sprint and release reporting.
- We collaborate with product, business and engineering teams to create aligned user stories.
- We create feature and story maps for Journey Epics.
- We analyse user needs, requirements, risks, scope and dependencies.
- We lead and plan Journey Epics across Analyse and Implement PIs, managing risks, dependencies and costs.
- We ensure user stories are well defined, documented and maintained with clear acceptance criteria.
