General Position Description:

Responsible for managing their specific product lines. This includes but is not limited to: estimating, manufacturing methods, design, quality, lead times, inventory, application knowledge, technical resolution, and designing accessories for your product line. Must be able to work closely with sales, estimating, purchasing, engineering, manufacturing, and customers to ensure the correct product for the application is designed and shipped. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially when it comes to engaging with clients. Must be able to present your products with confidence while keeping your audience engaged. Continuous improvement and innovative mindsets are imperative to succeed in sustaining growth.

Responsibilities:

• Inventory Management
• Cost estimate of products and services
• Development of manufacturing methods for new and existing products
• Continuous improvement of product quality, cost, delivery, and general manufacturing methods
• Price products and services to the market
• Technical Problem Resolution
• Opportunity Identification
• Identify product objections or hurdles
• Drive Continuous improvement
• Innovation
• Exploring new product design ideas

Knowledge

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in a relevant field is preferred but not required
• 5+ years of relevant experience preferred. Entry level candidates with degrees will be considered
• Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, product development, and supply chain management
• Understanding of operational management and strategic planning
• Familiarity with customer experience strategies and best practices

Skills and Expertise

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and identify trends or patterns
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey technical concepts to diverse stakeholders
• Detail-oriented mindset with a strong focus on accuracy and precision
• Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and lead quality improvement projects
• SolidWorks or other 3D parametric software
• Microsoft tools – Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.
