Product Manager, Android Maps Reach
Geo's mission is to help people explore and navigate the real world wherever they are. We want to make real-world exploration and navigation seamless, intelligent, and universally accessible to all users across every hardware tier and network condition globally. At Google Maps' scale of 2B+ monthly active users, even fractional improvements in funnel conversion, latency, or feature discoverability generate massive, world-scale impact.
As a Product Manager, you will help drive Maps' reach towards 3B monthly active users (MAUs). You will join the International Growth team, with a focus on growing Android Maps (aka aGMM) Reach by creating new and improving existing acquisition and re-activation flywheels. You will drive sustainable, high-velocity user growth and engagement across top Android growth markets (including US, India, Indonesia, Brazil, Vietnam etc) while systematically eliminating friction in the user journey. The team operates at the intersection of product intuition, deep data analytics, and rigorous experimentation.
- Own the multi-quarter strategy and tactical execution plan for global Android Google Mobile Maps (aGMM) MAU growth, daily visits, and users on Google Maps.
- Conduct funnel analyses to pinpoint drop-offs, churn drivers, and user cohorts.
- Design, launch, and analyze high-velocity A/B tests and causal holdback experiments to validate product hypotheses.
- Partner with engineering to streamline app startup latency, payload footprints, and first-interaction times on entry-tier devices.
- Partner closely with dedicated Engineering teams, Data Science/Analytics, UX Design, Research, Legal, and Product Marketing across geographies.
