Summary
Associate Product Manager for Avery Dennison’s Performance Tapes North America, handling pricing, P&L, and commercial projects while supporting cross-functional teams.
Avery Dennison is seeking an Associate Product Manager to join Performance Tapes North America (PTNA). In this position, you will support Marketing, Sales, and Business Development by performing product manager tasks such as pricing, modeling, and project management. You will assist with managing the P&L for select product portfolios and commercial improvement processes. We are looking for an individual who fits well in our entrepreneurial environment and is passionate about bold growth. You will report to our Senior Product Manager.
Key Responsibilities
This is an on-site position located in Painesville, OH.
Conduct product management tasks such as cost modeling, pricing guideline management, rationalization, red spec management, customer notifications, and change management.
Assist with managing the P&L for select product portfolios and executing pricing strategies for assigned products to optimize growth and profitability.
Lead and manage commercial process improvement and growth projects while providing project management and leadership for cross-functional teams.
Provide market, competitive, and tactical information to support product, program, and service introductions, as well as market communication plans.
Serve as Functional/Business Unit Project Manager for SFDC CPQ software implementation, execution, ongoing management, and backup administration.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience working in a technical, business-to-business (B2B) environment.
Experience working with SFDC systems and computer software such as Google Suite and/or MS Office (SFDC CPQ experience preferred).
Demonstrated teamwork, leadership, and facilitation skills to generate support and excitement across informal, cross-functional teams in a matrixed organization.
Strong analytical, strategic, financial, business insight, and communication skills with a consistent track record of results.
Proven project management, critical thinking skills, and sales/marketing focus experience.
Preferred:
Sales and/or Marketing focus experience
Experience working with SFDC CPQ system
Pay Transparency
The salary range for this position is $93,375 – $139,440/ year.
The hiring base salary range above represents what Avery Dennison reasonably expects to pay for this position as of the date of this posting. Actual salaries will vary within the range, and in some circumstances may be above or below the range, based on various factors including but not limited to a candidate’s relevant skills, experience, education and training, and location, as well as the job scope and complexity, responsibilities, and regular and/or necessary travel required for the position, which may change depending on the candidate pool.
