Product Manager
Description
We are looking for a Product Manager to drive the discovery, definition, development and continuous improvement of digital products and software solutions. The role requires a strong understanding of user needs, business objectives and product delivery, with the ability to translate complex operational requirements into clear, actionable product specifications. Working closely with stakeholders, users, UX/UI designers, engineers and other cross-functional teams, you will own product priorities, manage the product backlog and guide the delivery of solutions that deliver measurable user and business value. The ideal candidate is outcome-driven, analytical and comfortable working with technical teams in an Agile software development environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Product Strategy and Discovery: Understand user needs, operational workflows and business objectives to identify problems worth solving and define product goals, scope and roadmap.
- Requirements Definition: Translate business and user needs into clear product requirements, user journeys, user stories, business rules, edge cases and acceptance criteria.
- Prioritisation and Decision-Making: Own and prioritise the product backlog based on user value, business impact, urgency, delivery effort, technical dependencies and risk. Make informed trade-offs on scope and priorities.
- Product Design and Validation: Work with UX/UI designers to shape user-centric workflows and experiences, validate proposed solutions and ensure usability across relevant user groups.
- Product Delivery: Work closely with Tech Leads and engineering teams to clarify requirements, refine the backlog, prepare work for development, resolve product-related questions and manage scope and release priorities throughout delivery.
- Stakeholder Management: Align users, business stakeholders and technical teams on product objectives, priorities, dependencies, risks and delivery expectations. Communicate product decisions and progress effectively, including to senior management.
- Product Performance and Improvement: Define appropriate success metrics, gather user feedback, assess product performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Quality and Governance: Ensure product requirements account for relevant security, regulatory, quality and operational considerations, including appropriate testing, auditability and readiness for deployment and ongoing support.
- Agile Ways of Working: Facilitate product-related Agile activities, including backlog refinement, sprint planning input, reviews and prioritisation discussions, to maintain a clear and actionable delivery backlog.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business or a related discipline.
- 1–3 years of experience in product management or a closely related role involving software product development and delivery.
- Experience translating business problems and user needs into structured product requirements and actionable user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
- Understanding of Agile software development methodologies, including Scrum or Kanban, and experience working with product backlogs and cross-functional delivery teams.
- Ability to prioritise competing requirements, make scope trade-offs and communicate decisions based on user value, business objectives and delivery constraints.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Familiarity with product and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, Figma or equivalent.
- Ability to work effectively with UX/UI designers and technical teams, and to understand technical constraints sufficiently to support informed product decisions.

- Exposure to data-driven products, AI/ML-enabled solutions, analytics or cybersecurity.
- Experience in user research, user journey mapping, service design, design thinking or usability validation.
- Familiarity with software development concepts, system integrations, APIs, security requirements and software delivery lifecycles.
