Summary

Own the product roadmap for an edtech SaaS, partnering with schools and families to define and ship features that improve outcomes using AI to accelerate delivery.

Responsibilities
As a product manager at Clarity, your primary responsibility is to deliver real value to our customers. You’ll build direct relationships with schools and families to understand the problems they face, decide which ones are most important to solve, clearly define those problems, and then work with your designer and engineers to create solutions that matter. You’ll also play a key role in shaping a shared roadmap that will impact hundreds of thousands of users.
  • Operate as part of a cross-functional product team, driving company priorities across products.
  • Build relationships with schools, families, and internal teams to understand problems, collect insights, and inform product decisions.
  • Define, prioritize, and write clear specifications for new features and enhancements, partnering with design and engineering to deliver solutions that align with the vision.
  • Contribute to and help shape a product roadmap that reflects business priorities and impacts hundreds of thousands of users.
  • Leverage AI to improve speed, quality, and creativity by drafting artifacts, organizing insights, and shipping small improvements yourself.
  • Create test plans for features and enhancements to ensure they function as intended.
  • Define and track metrics that measure product success and ensure features deliver value.
  • Communicate new releases internally and coordinate with marketing, client success, and go-to-market teams on external launches.
  • Maintain Clarity’s evidence and feedback systems, and stay informed on industry trends and the competitive landscape to refine our value proposition.
  • Enable peers to become internal experts on new product functionality so they can effectively support and train customers.
Traits of an Ideal Candidate
  • A track record of choosing product roles, or equivalent, in early-stage SaaS startups (series seed to series B)
  • A preference for operating tactically and leading projects.
  • Proven ability to dig into issues, propose solutions, and drive resolution quickly.
  • Strong communicator, able to convey ideas clearly and collaborate across engineering, design, and customer-facing teams.
  • Quick to grasp new domains and distill complex problems.
  • Ambitious, adaptable, and eager to grow with a fast-moving company.
  • Explores new technologies and approaches to solving complex customer and internally facing issues
