Product Manager (Customer-Facing)

Summary

Customer-facing Product Manager at Sardina Systems, designing OpenStack/Kubernetes-based cloud infrastructure solutions for enterprises and partners, and translating customer needs into product development.

Sardina Systems builds cloud infrastructure software based on OpenStack, Kubernetes, and Ceph — for cloud operators, enterprises, and service providers across the globe.

We're looking for a Product Manager who operates at the intersection of customers, partners, and our engineering team.

This is a customer-facing role with real product impact. You run demos for new leads, design system configurations, and build product ecosystems via partners — and own the market and operational insights that drive product development.

What You'll Be Doing:

Work with prospective customers to assess infrastructure requirements and design custom FishOS configurations based on technical fit with their hardware

Build and maintain relationships with channel and technology partners who extend the Sardina ecosystem

Run product demos for inbound leads and product opportunities

Translate customer needs into actionable product feedback — you're the main signal source for what gets built

Support customers through the full cycle: demo, configuration, contracting, and go-live

Coordinate with the engineering team on delivery, ensuring customer commitments are realistic and met

Stay current on OpenStack, Kubernetes, VMware, Ceph, and adjacent market developments

What You'll Need:

3+ years in technical product management, solutions engineering, or a pre-sales role in enterprise software or cloud infrastructure

Strong enough technical understanding to work with system architecture and hardware fit — you don't write code, but you can read a configuration and know what questions to ask

Comfortable running demos and presenting to both technical and business audiences

Experience working with channel partners and resellers

Self-directed and able to manage multiple customer engagements simultaneously

Able to translate complex infrastructure concepts into clear language without losing accuracy

Fluent English required; Russian, German, Dutch, French, or Swedish is a strong plus

Nice to have:

Experience with bid and tender preparation

Education in law, and understanding of commercial contracts

Prior startup or fast-growth environment experience

We offer:

Direct access to engineering — your customer conversations shape the roadmap

Competitive compensation with regular review

Flexible hours fixed to CET

Fully remote, async-friendly environment

Opportunity to attend industry conferences and events
