Product Manager, Data & Activation Platform
Summary
NaviStone, an adtech platform for B2C marketers, is hiring a Product Manager to own the roadmap and end-to-end execution of its marketing data engine — data pipelines, identity resolution, predictive targeting models, and attribution. The role blends hands-on SQL analysis with product leadership across engineering and data science.
The Role
- Identify and Size Opportunities: You find product opportunities across our data infrastructure and activation layers, connecting them clearly to revenue and marketer outcomes.
- Own the Vision: You define the roadmap for our data products including predictive modeling and attribution, setting priorities based on business impact.
- Data Infrastructure & Pipelines: You partner with engineering to design and scale the underlying data architecture that supports identity resolution and real-time activation.
- Model Productization: You collaborate with Data Science to move predictive models and attribution logic from concept into production-grade platform features.
- Hands-on Analysis: You dig into the data yourself, using SQL to query, interpret, and derive insights that sharpen product decisions.
- Governance & Privacy: You hold the bar on data quality and reliability, ensuring our models and pipelines respect identity, consent, and global privacy frameworks.
- Drive Internal & External Adoption: You enable go-to-market teams through documentation and direct engagement, ensuring customers understand the value of our data science capabilities.
- Iterative Execution: You define success metrics upfront and own performance analysis post-launch, with a bias toward iteration.
- Connect the Vertical: You operate as the glue between Product, Engineering, Data Science, and GTM teams to keep the platform moving independently.
- 5+ years in product management at an AdTech, MarTech, identity, or data platform company. Backgrounds in Customer Data Platforms (CDPs), data clean rooms, or attribution modeling are highly valued.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business, or Information Systems; advanced degree is a plus.
- A track record of shipping technical data products and infrastructure, not just managing backlogs.
- SQL proficiency and hands-on comfort with Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift, as well as ETL/ELT tools like dbt or Airflow.
- Experience with BI tools (Looker, Tableau) and a deep understanding of how to track and define product KPIs from day one.
- You can translate technical architecture into business value for marketers and executives.
- You set your own agenda, identifying what matters in ambiguous environments without needing a pre-set priority list.
- You write requirements that engineers can build from and build roadmaps grounded in customer needs.
- Onboarding: You’ve developed a working understanding of our data pipelines, predictive models, and customer personas without needing hand-holding.
- Gap Analysis: You’ve identified the biggest opportunity in our current data infrastructure or modeling roadmap and presented a prioritized point of view.
- Trust: Engineering and Data Science trust your technical judgment; you are driving the vertical forward without waiting for direction.
