Debetrek is a leading supplier and service provider of point-of-care equipment to the healthcare industry across Australia and New Zealand.
For more than 20 years, our dedicated regional sales, service and operations teams have worked with private and government healthcare clients to deliver innovative, high-quality equipment solutions that improve caregiver workflows, support staff wellbeing and help enable excellent patient care.
As a result of continued business growth and an internal promotion, we are seeking a Product Manager to join our team. This is a hands-on, commercially focused role with responsibility for managing and developing assigned product categories, supporting customers and our sales team with practical technical solutions, and building strong relationships with global suppliers. You will work closely with Sales, Service, Operations and Management to ensure our products are fit for purpose, well supported and positioned for profitable growth.
Job Responsibilities
· Own the day-to-day management and development of assigned product categories, including product knowledge, positioning, lifecycle planning and range opportunities.
· Translate customer, application, technical and commercial requirements into practical product recommendations and configured solutions.
· Support customer meetings, site visits, audits, demonstrations and product trials, working alongside Account Managers and Business Development Managers.
· Create and maintain sales enablement tools, product comparisons, application guides and training, and support product launches and go-to-market activities.
· Act as the primary contact for designated suppliers, managing product updates, technical matters, availability, pricing and commercial discussions.
· Maintain accurate specifications, supplier and pricing information; assist with quotations, substitutions and value-engineered alternatives; and monitor gross margin opportunities.
· Coordinate the investigation and resolution of product quality and technical issues, identify recurring trends and drive continuous improvement with internal teams and suppliers.
Ideally, you will bring experience in product management, technical sales, product support, procurement or a related commercial and technical role. Experience in healthcare, telephony or point-of-care environments will be highly regarded, as will a relevant qualification in product management, business, marketing, engineering, ICT or a related discipline.
You will be customer focused, commercially minded and solutions oriented, with strong technical aptitude, attention to detail and the ability to communicate confidently with customers, suppliers and colleagues. You will be comfortable managing multiple priorities, taking ownership of issues through to resolution and travelling for customer and supplier visits when required.
