Product Manager (Digital Platform / Government Sector)

We are looking for an experienced Product Manager to drive the planning, development and delivery of digital products and solutions. You will work closely with business stakeholders, users and technology teams to translate business needs into product requirements and deliver solutions that create measurable value.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and manage the end-to-end product lifecycle, from discovery and requirements gathering through development, launch and continuous improvement.
• Define the product vision, roadmap and priorities based on business objectives and user needs.
• Gather, analyse and translate business/user requirements into product requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Manage and prioritise the product backlog, balancing business priorities, technical considerations and delivery timelines.
• Work closely with software engineers, designers, business analysts, QA and other cross-functional teams throughout product delivery.
• Facilitate product discovery sessions, requirement workshops and stakeholder discussions.
• Drive delivery using Agile/Scrum methodologies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews and retrospectives.
• Coordinate and support SIT, UAT, product releases and implementation activities.
• Monitor product performance, user feedback and adoption to identify opportunities for enhancement.
• Define and track relevant product metrics and KPIs to measure product effectiveness and outcomes.
• Identify product risks, dependencies and delivery issues and work with stakeholders to resolve them.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and provide regular updates on product roadmap, progress and priorities.
• Conduct market, competitor and user research where required to support product decisions.
• Drive continuous improvement of product features, user experience and operational processes.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business or a related discipline.
• Relevant experience as a Product Manager, Product Owner, Business Analyst or similar digital product role.
• Experience managing digital products or enterprise applications throughout the product lifecycle.
• Strong experience in requirements gathering, user stories, backlog management and product prioritisation.
• Good understanding of Agile/Scrum and software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Experience working closely with technical teams on application or system development.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work across business and technical teams.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills with a user-centric mindset.
• Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps or equivalent.
• Knowledge of APIs, system integrations, cloud technologies, data analytics or AI-enabled products would be advantageous.
• Product management or Agile certifications would be an added advantage.
