Product Manager — Efficiency and Quality

Summary

Own the product roadmap to automate property transactions and improve legal-service quality using AI and workflow automation.

About Rundl

Rundl is building the technology platform for the next generation of property transactions across Australia and New Zealand. Our products combine secure multi-party collaboration, workflow automation, AI-assisted legal delivery, and new transaction services to make buying and selling property faster, safer, and substantially more efficient.

The platform has already supported more than 60,000 property matters. We are now entering a major AI-driven scale-up phase, rebuilding and extending the core platform, automating large parts of the conveyancing process, launching new products, and creating new ways for law firms and major partners to serve customers.

Rundl includes two closely connected core products. RundlCore is our secure multi-party transaction workspace. RundlPM, previously known as Launch, is our practice management and transaction platform. Teams work across the broader Rundl platform, with practical specialisation where useful rather than permanent ownership of a single product or codebase.

The role

You will own the product area responsible for taking unnecessary human effort out of property transactions while making legal-service quality best in industry. You will have substantial support from experienced legal and operational staff, but you will be accountable for turning that insight into a coherent roadmap and delivered outcomes.

What you will do
  • Own and maintain the Efficiency and Quality roadmap within the group product strategy.
  • Identify high-value opportunities to remove manual effort from property transactions, prioritising lawyer effort, then RundlServe, partner and customer effort.
  • Work directly with lawyers, operational teams, partners and customers to understand workflows, gather feedback and validate requirements.
  • Define the problem, intended outcome, user experience, constraints and success measures clearly enough for autonomous engineering pods to deliver.
  • Ensure engineering work solves the intended problem and meets agreed quality expectations without requiring exhaustive specifications.
  • Use AI extensively for research, analysis, requirements, workflow mapping, prototyping, documentation and decision support.
  • Create practical AI-assisted interface concepts and prototypes while no dedicated designer is available, escalating major design questions when needed.
  • Measure product outcomes including effort reduction, quality, defects, service consistency, risk, user satisfaction and adoption.
Why join Rundl
  • Own a measurable efficiency and quality agenda across a proven transaction platform.
  • Work directly with lawyers, operations teams, partners and customers.
  • Use AI for discovery, prototyping, requirements and analysis—not merely as an occasional productivity tool.
  • Join a product team with genuine ownership and direct access to the CPO.
  • Work remotely from New Zealand, with Auckland preferred and optional office access.
What you will bring
  • Demonstrated product-management capability in software, digital services or workflow products.
  • Strong discovery, feedback-gathering and requirements-shaping skills.
  • Ability to convert complex workflows into clear product outcomes without over-specifying implementation.
  • Strong analytical judgement and ability to measure operational and customer outcomes.
  • Advanced practical use of AI for product work and rapid prototyping.
  • Ability to work with autonomous engineering pods and hold delivery to the intended outcome.
  • Existing right to work in New Zealand.
Working at Rundl

Rundl operates with small, accountable teams. We provide clear outcomes and meaningful autonomy, and expect people to determine the right way to deliver. Auckland is our preferred base, but we remain open to strong candidates elsewhere in New Zealand. Applicants must already have the right to work in New Zealand.
