Product Manager – Employee Conflicts of Interest (ECOI)

About the Role
MCO’s Employee Conflicts of Interest (ECOI) product suite is the company’s flagship offering and primary revenue driver, serving financial institutions globally with comprehensive compliance solutions for managing employee conduct risk. The ECOI suite comprises Personal Trading Monitoring (PTM), Gifts & Entertainment (G&E), Outside Business Activities (OBA), Digital Asset Personal Trading (DAPT), Political Donations, Connected Persons, Attestations, and E-Learning.

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic product leader to take full ownership of the ECOI product portfolio as Head of Product. This is a senior strategic role within the Product organisation, responsible for driving the long-term product vision, defining and executing the product strategy, and ensuring commercial and technical coherence across the entire ECOI suite.

The ideal candidate brings deep experience in product management within a B2B SaaS environment, strong domain knowledge of financial services compliance (particularly employee conduct and conflicts of interest), and thrives in a high-growth, fast-paced setting.

Acting as a key partner to the Chief Product Officer, this role leads a team of Product Owners and works closely with Engineering, Architecture, Sales, Customer Success, Data Operations, and other Product teams to deliver a market-leading, scalable, and innovative ECOI platform. The role covers the full spectrum of product management responsibilities, from defining strategy and roadmap to ensuring high-quality delivery, while fostering a high-performing team culture and driving alignment across the organization.

Responsibilities
Product Strategy and Roadmap
  • Define and own the long-term strategy and roadmap for the ECOI product suite, ensuring strategic alignment with company vision, growth objectives, and market opportunity.
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders to gather regulatory needs, market ex-pectations, business needs, feedback, and insights across all ECOI modules.
  • Define and prioritise the product roadmap, balancing customer-driven enhancements, competitive positioning, regulatory change, and platform modernisation.
  • Continuously evaluate emerging technologies (including AI and automation), regulatory trends (FINRA, SEC, FCA, MiFID II, MAS, MiCA), and market developments (digital as-sets, tokenised securities) to shape future product direction.
  • Own the commercial strategy for ECOI, including pricing, packaging, and go-to-market positioning in partnership with Sales and Marketing.
Stakeholder Engagement
  • Engage deeply with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, prospects, sales, customer success, implementation, data operations, and other product managers,
  • Maintain a clear understanding of customer needs, compliance requirements, and the demands of enterprise SaaS environments across diverse regulatory jurisdictions.
  • Lead customer conversations to validate product assumptions, gather deeper context, and build relationships with key accounts.
  • Represent the ECOI product strategy in customer interactions, executive discussions, analyst briefings, and industry forums as required.
  • Act as the voice of the ECOI product in competitive and market intelligence activities, en-suring MCO’s positioning remains sharp against competitors.
Leadership, Team Development & Cross-Functional Influence
  • Lead and mentor a team of Product Owners across the ECOI modules, ensuring high performance, accountability, and alignment with company strategy.
  • Act as the primary point of leadership for the ECOI product suite across engineering, ar-chitecture, customer success, sales, marketing, data operations, and senior manage-ment.
  • Establish regular and reliable communications to senior management and other stake-holders on the status of ECOI products, issues, and medium- and longer-term plans.
  • Communicate product vision, strategy, and progress to executive leadership, the board, and other key stakeholders.
  • Drive collaboration across teams to ensure smooth alignment between ECOI product ini-tiatives and platform, data, and AI workstreams.
Execution & Delivery Excellence
  • Ensure product requirements are well-defined, technically robust, and clearly communi-cated to Engineering, Architecture, QA, and other delivery teams.
  • Maintain a healthy, prioritised backlog aligned with agreed-upon strategic initiatives across all ECOI modules.
  • Review technical design documents, feature specifications, and architecture proposals to ensure product integrity, scalability, and alignment with the ECOI vision.
  • Oversee project execution for ECOI initiatives, ensuring timelines, quality standards, and cross-team dependencies are managed effectively.
  • Drive continuous improvement in the product development process, including the Func-tional Suggestion (FS) lifecycle and sprint delivery practices.
AI and Innovation
  • Define and drive the AI strategy for ECOI products, identifying opportunities to leverage AI and automation to enhance compliance outcomes, improve operational efficiency, and deliver greater value to customers.
  • Lead the product vision for next-generation ECOI capabilities, evaluating how AI can transform compliance workflows, enhance user experience, and extend the scope of what the product suite can monitor and manage.
  • Monitor industry trends in AI, automation, digital assets, and emerging technology as ap-plied to financial services compliance, and translate these into actionable product oppor-tunities.
Regulatory, Compliance and Security Oversight
  • Ensure ECOI products support the full range of global regulatory requirements across financial services jurisdictions.
  • Collaborate with engineers, architects, and domain experts to influence data models, in-tegrations, broker feed connectivity, and system-level design decisions.
  • Ensure that all product development activities comply with relevant regulatory require-ments and industry standards.
  • Implement and maintain robust security practices to protect sensitive employee and firm data and maintain platform integrity.

Experiences and Skills
Experience
  • At least 10 years of progressive experience in product management, with significant leadership responsibility for complex B2B SaaS products.
  • Demonstrated success delivering enterprise compliance, RegTech, or financial services products end-to-end.
  • Strong background in financial services compliance domains, particularly employee con-flicts of interest, personal trading, gifts and entertainment, or related conduct-risk areas.
  • Experience leading and developing high-performing product teams in a multi-module, multi-stakeholder environment.
  • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as FINRA, SEC, FCA, MiFID II, MAS, and/or MiCA.
  • Proven ability to define and execute long-term product strategies, cross-portfolio roadmaps, and go-to-market plans.
  • Experience with data-intensive products, including broker feeds, transaction monitoring, and compliance data operations, is highly desirable.
  • Exposure to AI/ML applications in product development or compliance automation is a strong plus.

Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field. Advanced degree or professional qualifications in financial services, compliance, or technology is a plus.
