Discussion

Our product management team is growing to drive forward AI-powered solutions and integrate artificial intelligence into each stage of the product lifecycle. As a Senior Product Manager | Applied AI, you'll lead the vision, strategy, roadmap, and delivery across multiple products—including at least one built on AI—while using AI daily to speed up processes, sharpen your decision-making, and support fellow Product Managers

Responsibilities

  • Take full ownership of the vision, strategic direction, roadmap execution, and complete delivery for one or more products, with no fewer than one driven by artificial intelligence
  • Lay out specific requirements and use cases for AI capabilities by treating them as probabilistic systems, defining data scope, use-case fit, evaluation metrics, quality standards, safety protections, and human-in-the-loop review as acceptance criteria
  • Pinpoint strategic openings where artificial intelligence can enhance product value, customer experience, internal workflows, and business results while constructing and scaling thorough business cases for rollout
  • Deploy AI tools skillfully and with disciplined review across product discovery, research synthesis, data analysis, documentation, user story development, prototyping, and planning, consistently confirming outputs before relying on them
  • Rank product features, oversee product backlogs, and manage release cycles, applying AI-assisted analytics to support, not replace, human judgment
  • Oversee the entire product lifecycle, accounting for the specific operational factors tied to AI features such as model and version shifts, quality drift, and continuous human review
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, data, design, and AI/ML teams to turn product goals into actionable requirements while managing technical constraints effectively in product decisions
  • Build realistic expectations with clients and stakeholders about AI capabilities and boundaries, conveying advantages, risks, and trade-offs in straightforward language
  • Mentor fellow Product Managers and strengthen the team's practical AI skills through consistent, example-driven leadership

Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant Product Management experience, having managed one or more products successfully from inception through post-launch support
  • Proven track record launching multiple products or core features to market, including firsthand experience delivering or significantly improving AI-powered products or features such as generative AI, machine learning, recommendation engines, search algorithms, or automation systems
  • Solid command of product strategy, vision, roadmapping, market analysis, and product visioning, with demonstrated capability identifying and justifying valuable AI opportunities
  • Wide-ranging experience handling backlogs, cross-product dependencies, release cycles, product lifecycles, and ongoing customer support frameworks
  • Full understanding of product profitability, competitive positioning, pricing models, and the essential cost, latency, and quality trade-offs influencing AI-feature economics
  • Significant subject matter expertise spanning 3 or more business domains, allowing you to serve as a credible business-domain resource
  • Working AI literacy covering current AI and generative AI/LLM capabilities, reliable constraints, common patterns, and typical failure scenarios to drive sound product choices and credible technical discussions without needing model-building expertise
  • Clear ability to influence a range of stakeholders up to VP level and direct every essential element of complex product launches
  • Strong leadership ability to oversee a team of Product Owners and Product Managers across a product family throughout the full product lifecycle
  • Genuine commitment to elevating the team's practical AI competency by sharing proven approaches and coaching on requirements and evaluation benchmarks for AI features
  • Regular, daily application of artificial intelligence across research, discovery, analysis, documentation, user stories, prototyping, and planning, paired with thorough output verification
  • Clear capability identifying and justifying impactful AI opportunities within products, operational processes, customer experiences, and business outcomes
  • Full working AI literacy encompassing concepts, terminology, capabilities, and limitations at a product management level
  • Proven history defining thorough requirements and use cases for AI features, including evaluation criteria, quality benchmarks, guardrails, and human oversight
  • Solid skill evaluating AI outputs for quality, accuracy, risk, limitations, and broader user impact
  • Strong understanding of responsible-AI principles including data privacy, algorithmic bias, security, transparency, and human oversight
  • Clear ability to collaborate successfully with engineering, data, design, and AI/ML development teams
  • Strong flexibility and ongoing commitment to learning as AI tools and capabilities continue to advance
  • Fluent English communication skills at a B2 level or above

Nice to have

  • Significant hands-on prototyping background using AI builder tools to reach near-production quality standards
  • Clear ability building product manager agents and multi-step automation that simplifies research, backlog management, analytics, and communications
  • Strong understanding of AI-feature economics covering cost, latency, and unit economics, along with model lifecycle management addressing drift, versioning, and vendor shifts
  • Knowledge of emerging AI regulatory frameworks such as the EU AI Act and relevant industry compliance standards
  • Previous direct experience successfully scaling an AI-powered product into full production
