Product Manager, Google Cloud Network Security
Summary
Leads the development of AI-powered network security products for Google Cloud, guiding them from concept to launch while collaborating with engineering, sales, and customers to protect applications from cyber threats.

Our team works closely with creative engineers, designers, marketers, etc. to help design and develop technologies that improve access to the world's information. We're responsible for guiding products throughout the execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring our solutions to our users.
In this role, you will be delivering new AI-powered network security products that will enable our customers to protect their applications, networks, services, and users from even the most sophisticated cyber attacks. You will be responsible for helping develop new product ideas and then taking them from initial development to release and then onto successful deployment with some of our largest and most complex customers.
You will be focused on building products/features in the Web Application Firewall, DDoS protection, Bot protection area, working closely with customers, sales, engineering and security partners. You will get a chance to build products that protect the customer's critical applications against emerging threats leveraging a combination of traditional and AI/ML driven techniques.

- Understand enterprise customers network security needs both in the cloud and on premise.
- Understand broader network security ecosystem, markets, competition and new trends.
- Drive the goal and development of AI-powered features within our network security product portfolio to protect Google Cloud customers at scale.
- Help generate new ideas on products and services that we can bring to market to help protect Google Cloud customers from network based threat vectors.
- Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle with an AI-first SDLC approach, actively utilizing AI tools for ideation, requirements gathering, prototyping, User Experience (UX), and documentation.
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in product management or related technical role.
- 3 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch (e.g., ideation to execution, end-to-end, 0 to 1, etc.).
- Experience integrating generative AI tools or LLM interfaces into workflows.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree in a technology or business related field.
- 5 years of strong Product Management experience in Application Security or Network Security space, preferably involving public Cloud.
- Experience launching products or features in one or more areas: Web Application Firewalls, DDoS Protection, Bot/Agent trust Management, AI/Agentic Security, Data Security.
- Experience building AI-powered security products for public cloud (GCP).
- Familiarity with the cloud security ecosystem (e.g., WAF, NGFW, IDPS, CSPM, SIEM etc.).
- Strong communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills, comfortable presenting to customers, sales and partners.
