Product Manager - Growth Tech Verticals

Summary

The Senior Staff Product Manager will lead the technology strategy for Intuit's Assisted growth engine, focusing on customer intelligence, lead capture, and offline-to-online measurement. The role involves building roadmaps and cross-functional architectures to connect physical retail touchpoints with digital platforms using AI-native workflows.

We're looking for a Senior Staff Product Manager to own and define the technology portfolio that powers our Omnichannel and Expert growth. You'll be the PM who identifies the highest-leverage problems in the Assisted growth engine, builds the capability roadmap, and drives cross-team architecture decisions that shape how customer data and intelligence is delivered to our Assisted ecosystem.

This role sits at a critical intersection: Assisted Services is scaling sales territories, opening hundreds of retail hubs and expert centers, and targeting 3X penetration in must-win markets. The technology that connects these physical touchpoints to our digital platforms — and gives experts the data and tools to act on high-intent signals — doesn't fully exist yet. You'll define the vision, build the roadmap, and ship the capabilities.

Responsibilities

Customer Intelligence & Data Layer — Own the user experience 'single source of truth' for customer data that powers the Assisted growth engine. Customer data lives in many platforms, and neither system gives a complete picture. You'll drive the customer intelligence layer that provides real-time customer journey visibility that builds on top of existing data foundation enabling field teams to deliver hyper-personalized service.

Lead Capture at the Edge — Own the tech strategy for how leads are captured from in-person, events, referrals, local offices — to deliver to the right expert at the right time. Today, experts lack a lightweight way to capture leads from in-person conversations, event attendees are not routed to the expert who met them at the event, and the handoff between concierge and expert loses critical customer context. You'll design the tech architecture that solves these problems — including mobile-friendly lead capture for field experts, direct expert routing as needed, and a marketing to concierge and concierge-to-expert handoff that preserves the full customer history.

Local Marketing & Geo-Enablement — Own the capabilities that enable our local offices and sales territories to drive growth in their target markets. As the organization scales sales territories, there's high demand for self-serve local marketing — local databases, promotional capabilities, geo-targeted campaigns, and the ability to re-engage past customers and event registrants at the local level. You'll define what can be supported centrally using existing platforms versus what requires new local capabilities, and build the technology foundation to support it.

Offline-to-Online Measurement — Own the measurement capabilities that connect physical and digital engagement into a holistic view. This includes expanding digital signals across all touchpoints, identity matching across online, out-of-home, in-store, and call center interactions, and real-time geofencing capabilities that enable activation based on where customers are engaging with our brands.

Qualifications

Product leadership — 7+ years of product management experience, with at least 2 years owning products that serve multiple teams or business lines. You take ownership of ambiguous problem spaces, structure them into actionable roadmaps, and drive execution across engineering and cross-functional partners.

Growth Systems thinking — You understand the full customer journey from first touchpoint to conversion and retention. You've built or significantly improved the systems that capture customer engagements and give sales or service teams the context they need to close. You connect the dots between what you’re building and why it matters to the business.

AI-native product development — You use AI tools as a part of your daily workflow — prototyping with Claude Code or Cursor, using AI to analyze data and generate specs, and automating your own repetitive work. You have a point of view on how agentic workflows and AI-powered intelligence can change what a field team can accomplish.

CRM and sales enablement fluency — You've worked with CRM platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar), understand lead management workflows, and know what it takes to give a sales or service team useful intelligence at the point of customer interaction. You've seen the gap between 'data exists somewhere' and 'the right person has it at the right time' and you know how to close it.

Cross-functional collaboration — You work effectively across engineering, field teams, marketing, and data teams. You can present your roadmap to senior leadership and gather requirements from a field expert in a retail hub in the same week. You build trust with partner teams through reliability and clear communication.

Change management and adoption ownership — You understand that shipping a capability is only half the job. You've worked with operational or enablement teams to stagger rollouts, gather feedback, and avoid cognitive overload for frontline users..

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with lead management systems and sales enablement platforms

  • Experience building products for field or frontline users (retail, sales, service)

  • Track record of working with data and analytics teams to build customer intelligence or measurement capabilities

  • Experience in financial services, tax, insurance, or other regulated consumer services is highly preferred
