Take ownership of a key digital banking product portfolio focused on helping financial institutions grow deposits and improve customer acquisition. As Product Manager III, Account Acquisition, you will lead the launch of business account opening while accelerating adoption and measurable returns across consumer and in-branch solutions. You will also shape the strategy and roadmap for youth account opening, balancing customer experience, compliance, and business objectives. Working closely with engineering, implementation teams, and financial institution clients, you will transform customer insights and funnel data into impactful product improvements. This role combines strategic product leadership with hands-on execution, client collaboration, and cross-functional coordination. Join a remote-first, fast-paced environment where your work will help community banks and credit unions deliver more accessible and effective digital banking experiences.

Accountabilities:

You will drive the strategy, launch, and ongoing optimization of account acquisition products, ensuring they meet client needs, deliver measurable business outcomes, and support sustainable deposit growth.

  • Lead the end-to-end launch of Business Online Account Opening (OAO), from requirements gathering and client pilots to go-live and early adoption.

  • Drive adoption and return on investment for Consumer OAO and In-Branch OAO by partnering with clients to analyze funnel performance, improve conversion rates, and increase deposit growth.

  • Own the product strategy and roadmap for Youth Account Opening, incorporating the specific compliance, operational, and user experience requirements associated with accounts for minors.

  • Advise clients on strategies to strengthen the top of the account acquisition funnel and use client feedback and performance data to prioritize product enhancements.

  • Collaborate with engineering teams to prioritize roadmap initiatives while balancing maintenance and enhancement requests across Online Account Opening (OAO) and Online Loan Applications (OLA).

  • Partner with implementation teams to support client onboarding, product launches, training, and successful adoption.

  • Manage integrations with core banking systems, identity verification and decisioning providers, and loan origination systems (LOS) that support account opening and loan application journeys.

  • Monitor relevant product metrics, including completion rates, funding rates, time to open accounts, conversion performance, and deposit growth.

  • Mentor and coach the product owner, supporting effective product documentation, agile ceremonies, and Jira task management.

  • Requirements:

You bring strong product management expertise, a customer-focused mindset, and the ability to translate business needs and data into clear product strategies and measurable results.

    • At least 7 years of experience in product management, preferably within fintech, banking, or digital onboarding.

    • Proven experience taking a new product from concept through launch and driving adoption and measurable business results after release.

    • Strong understanding of account opening and onboarding journeys, conversion funnel optimization, and key performance metrics such as completion rates, funding rates, time to open, and deposit growth.

    • Familiarity with business account opening processes, including Know Your Business (KYB) and beneficial ownership requirements, or with youth and minor account requirements, is an advantage.

    • Strong client-facing, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build productive relationships across teams and client organizations.

    • Deep understanding of agile methodologies and experience balancing competing priorities across multiple teams and product initiatives.

    • Familiarity with core banking integrations, loan origination systems, and decisioning engines is a plus.

    • Demonstrated leadership and mentoring abilities, including the capacity to guide product colleagues and support effective team practices.

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use client insights and product performance data to inform prioritization and strategy.

    • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative, remote-first environment.

    • Benefits:

      • Annual base salary: CAD 135,000–145,000.

      • Competitive compensation package with performance-based bonuses.

      • Stock options in a well-funded startup.

      • Healthcare coverage in Canada: 100% coverage of extended medical, dental, and vision premiums for employees and their families under a comprehensive plan.

      • Retirement plan with a 4% company match.

      • Paid parental leave: 8 weeks for birthing parents and 4 weeks for non-birthing parents.

      • 3–5 weeks of paid time off, depending on tenure.

      • 5 health days.

      • 15 paid holidays.

      • End-of-year company shutdown.

      • Remote-first culture and flexible remote working arrangements.

      • Fast-paced, collaborative working environment.

      • Commitment to equal employment opportunities and an accessible recruitment process, with accommodations available upon request.
