Overview

Verathon® is looking for a Product Manager III to become the newest member of our Airway Team located in Bothell.

You will be responsible for leading and executing new product launch strategies and plans, driving awareness and demand for endoscopy, managing a product portfolio, delivering sales training and communication, and supporting the overall growth of the business. You will collaborate closely with team members in several areas including product planning, marketing communications, the sales team, customer care and operations to effectively grow and manage the product portfolio. Responsibilities

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Lead new product introductions including the formulation of marketing objectives, strategies, tactics, and measures to meet and surpass business goals. Manage the cross-functional implementation of plans, including marketing assets, awareness campaigns, and sales training/communication.
  • Create and execute the marketing plan(s) including product marketing strategy, product mix, and growth plans in collaboration with marketing program management, digital marketing, and regional marketing teams.
  • Lead the development of product and/or campaign value propositions, positioning, and messaging.
  • Develop a strong customer understanding to help optimize product requirements and marketing campaigns. With supervision, lead market research and competitive studies to be expert on clinical needs, buying behavior, competition, and industry trends.
  • Develop online and offline marketing deliverables as well as sales and channel enablement tools (literature, brochures, website content, etc.), training materials, and field and customer communications working with the marketing communications team.
  • Develop and execute end-of-life strategy and plans working cross-functionally.
  • Track key competitors and work collaboratively on competitive analysis to support internal communication and sales channel support.
  • Manage product pricing and promotions with regular reviews, proposed changes, execution, and communication.
  • Work effectively with network of clinical champions / key opinion leaders to support marketing efforts and help accelerate product adoption.

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Bachelor degree in relevant field: MBA preferred
  • 5 years of product management or relevant experience
  • Product Management experience in the medical or high-tech B-to-B industries.
  • Proven product marketing / management and new product launch experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in pricing strategy, and competitive positioning.
  • Experience developing and executing a product lifecycle management strategy.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, collaborate, and influence cross-functionally
  • Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to develop knowledge of clinical applications and hospital economics across global geographies.
  • Strong analytics and demonstrated ability to create and business models and forecasts.
  • Strong initiative, high energy level, positive attitude, and ability to think like an entrepreneur with ability to work cohesively in a team or as an individual contributor.
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills. Confident communicator able to develop and present the results of activities and initiatives.
  • 20% domestic and international travel is required.

Salary range - $108,723 - $137,950 (Compensation will vary based on skills, experience and location; it is not typical to be hired at or above the top of the salary range).

Full-time employees who are not on a commission plan are eligible for Verathon’s annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance.
