Product Manager - Journeyman

We are Eagle Integrated Services, LLC (EIS) a government contracting and consulting firm supporting several military installations and federal agencies across the nation. We are currently seeking a Journeyman Product Manager for a 100% remote role supporting our customer at Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MD.

The ideal candidate must be able to perform the tasks listed below (but are not limited to the tasks listed below)

What You'll Do:

Collaborates with key functional stakeholders produce the product the vision and roadmap
Translates business needs into product requirements and communicates these to the development team
Maintains a prioritized product backlog in collaboration with the Product Owner, so each successive development sprint can be
planned clearly and efficiently, and development decisions are aligned with business needs
Participates in the day to day activities of the development team to clarify and represent the business needs
Sets clear goals and communicate these and the project vision at the beginning of every release and sprint so that the team
understands the objectives and is equipped to realize it
Prioritizes and sequences the backlog according to business value or ROI
Participates with team(s) in the backlog grooming process and user story pointing
Identifies, communicates and manages dependency relationships and risks
Participates in planning meetings, reviews and retrospectives
Understands, follows and promotes the values and principles in the Agile Manifesto
Understands, follows and promotes continuous cyber security risk management
Experience with low‑code platforms (Appian, Power Platform, Salesforce, and Palantir Foundry) (Preferred).
Experience writing high‑quality user stories and acceptance criteria, including decomposition of complex mission needs into incremental deliverables.
Experience with stakeholder alignment and expectation management, translating mission priorities into development tradeoffs.
Experience supporting release readiness, including UAT coordination and validation of acceptance criteria.

What You Bring:

Expert knowledge and skill in performing the work described for the labor category.
Given a desired outcome, able to identify and complete the work required without supervision.
Provides guidance to others for resolving problems and completing complex tasks.
A Bachelor’s Degree, in Computer Science, Mathematics, or other Engineering or Technical discipline + 4 years of relevant experience all within the last 4 years.

Three (3) additional years of applicable experience with appropriate certifications/relevant experience may be substituted for the degree. (Total 7 yrs experience)
