Salary: £70,000 - 85,000 per year

Requirements:
  • A degree in a technical or business subject, or equivalent track record
  • Product or project management qualification preferred but not necessary
  • Track record of hands-on technical product management and delivery across the full product lifecycle, including concept, vision, performance, workflow and end-user considerations
  • Strong relationship management skills with stakeholders and ideally distributors or similar external contacts
  • Comfortable prioritising under pressure and presenting to internal leadership and external partners or customers
  • Able to ask sharp, technically credible questions and speak confidently with technical teams
  • Able to collaborate and gain buy-in from colleagues who do not report directly to us, including senior management
  • Strong written and spoken communication skills
  • Resilient and able to keep plans on track when priorities shift
Responsibilities:
  • Own the commercial outcome of regulated, complex products end to end
  • Turn clinical, customer and market insight into a product roadmap and requirements
  • Keep the roadmap current as scope, risk or new information changes
  • Pull together and align stakeholders across engineering, quality, operations, service and commercial functions for each release
  • Own the backlog and release-readiness process using our formal product commercialisation framework
  • Identify technical, regulatory, security and supply risks early and escalate or resolve them quickly
  • Build and track product budgets, including cost-to-completion visibility, and prioritise spend accordingly
  • Contribute commercial input such as margins, revenue mechanics and pricing levers to business-case discussions with Finance and Commercial
  • Support regulatory and legal paperwork, including change-impact assessments and labelling, in partnership with RA/QA
  • Keep internal teams and external stakeholders informed on what is happening, why it is happening and when
  • Translate customer conversations into product positioning and competitive value propositions
  • Use field feedback and real-world usage data to improve usability and satisfaction after launch
  • Run meetings that end with clear owners, decisions and next steps
