Product Manager (m/f/d) Sertica

Summary

Owns the Sertica fleet-management product, gathering requirements, prioritizing features, and working with vendors to improve vessel and crew safety, HSQE, and purchasing workflows.

As a Product Manager, you will be an integral part of our Fleet Management Software team, working closely with various stakeholders to enhance our Sertica system. Your role is crucial in ensuring safe and efficient vessel and crew management, as well as supporting the digitalization of processes across our organization.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact and expert guide for Sertica-related matters, collaborating with diverse stakeholders.
  • Take ownership of HSQE and purchasing segments, driving continuous improvement.
  • Collect and develop requirements to enhance our systems, data, and processes, ensuring alignment with changing industry needs.
  • Prioritize tasks, manage change requests, and track progress effectively.
  • Negotiate and collaborate with our vendor to implement change requests and resolve errors promptly.
  • Contribute innovative ideas to optimize our software solutions, making them exceptional for all users.
  • Foster open communication with internal departments and our crew, ensuring a smooth flow of information.
  • Challenge and question established processes to drive process improvement and innovation.
  • Seafaring background with a strong understanding of spare part, safety, and reporting procedures on board.
  • Proven experience in requirement handling and product management, with a track record of successful projects.
  • Excellent project management skills, able to handle multiple work streams and topics simultaneously.
  • Experience with master data systems, particularly Sertica, is highly advantageous.
  • Strong analytical skills to navigate complex processes and systems across various departments.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to build relationships with diverse teams.
  • Willingness to adapt and learn, keeping up with changing regulations and industry trends.
  • Proficiency in relevant software tools and technologies is an asset.
  • A commitment to safety, quality, and environmental standards is essential.
