Product Manager: New Grad Accelerator
Summary
A 12-month new-grad accelerator at Stripe for early-career AI-enabled builders: you join a host team (e.g., Dashboard, Docs, Crypto, Payment Methods), own features end to end from discovery to deployment, and ideally land a full-time Product Manager role. In-person in San Francisco, New York, or Seattle.
Who we are
About Stripe
Stripe is a financial infrastructure platform for businesses. Millions of companies - from the world’s largest enterprises to the most ambitious startups - use Stripe to accept payments, grow their revenue, and accelerate new business opportunities. Our mission is to increase the GDP of the internet, and we have a staggering amount of work ahead. That means you have an unprecedented opportunity to put the global economy within everyone's reach while doing the most important work of your career.
About the role
Stripe is looking for AI-enabled builders. If you are looking to apply your skills at a company that deeply cares about quality with global scale, we'd love to hear from you. We're looking for early career engineers who can solve problems, write code, ship features, and iterate quickly, all with a core focus on elevating Stripe’s craft and quality. This is a 12-month intensive training program where you will be paired with a host team within Stripe, given a broad mandate, and ideally placed full time in a Product Manager role after completion of the program.
What you’ll do
- Embed yourself deeply with Stripe’s users. Our users expect Stripe to provide the best financial technology that is also enabled with deep insights, automations and features that only AI can solve. You will work with users on a daily basis to understand their needs and forge new solutions.
- Own the entire lifecycle. You'll take a user problem from initial discovery through design, implementation, deployment, and iteration.
- Build on a home team, learn across Stripe. You'll start on one team (e.g., Dashboard, Docs, Crypto, Payment Methods) and eventually land a full time role as a Product Manager.
- Ownership mindset. When you hit technical constraints, unclear requirements, or process friction, you'll figure it out. You'll navigate codebases, track down answers, and push through obstacles.
- Optimize how you work, not just what you build. You'll constantly refine your workflows and tooling to increase your leverage. Every bottleneck is an opportunity to automate or improve; and then show others how to achieve our end goals.
What success looks like
- Users win: You deliver meaningful features and improvements week after week. Users see real impact from your work.
- Quality and speed: You maintain Stripe's quality bar while moving faster than traditional team-based development.
- Influence: Your approaches to AI-enabled development spread to the rest of the team. You help others level up their AI skills.
Logistics
- Location: In-person at Stripe offices in San Francisco, Seattle, or New York. You'll benefit from direct collaboration and a strong support network as we figure this out together.
- Experience level: New grad or 0-2 years of professional experience, with a CS or engineering degree. We care more about what you've built (through internships, personal projects, or school) than years of specific experience.
