Product Manager (Persib App)
Summary
Product Manager owns the PERSIB football club's fan-engagement digital products (mobile app, website, digital memberships), driving the full lifecycle from research and prioritization through launch, monitoring, and iteration, with a roadmap toward a multi-club platform. Agile, stakeholder-heavy role based in South Jakarta.
We're seeking a resourceful Product Manager to lead our fan-engagement digital products, starting with the PERSIB app and extending to other clubs. You'll drive the full product lifecycle, from ideation and research through operations and monitoring.
This is a fast-paced, stakeholder-heavy environment where direction is often ambiguous. Your edge is the ability to turn a grey situation into concrete, shippable options and to drive the people around you to decisions, not just to manage the engineering team.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the product suite (mobile app, website, and digital memberships) for PERSIB, with a roadmap toward a reusable multi-club fan-engagement platform.
Turn ambiguity into options. Where direction is undefined, build concrete proposals and drive alignment (“here are three options, pick one”) rather than waiting for a fully-formed brief.
Own and defend prioritization. Lead development using agile methodologies, balancing feature priorities against limited resources, push back on low-impact asks with clear business reasoning.
Drive external stakeholders to decisions. Work across Persib operations, finance, marketing and leadership. Extract requirements from partners who won't volunteer them, and ensure features actually launch, not just get built.
Conduct market research to refine product-market fit, particularly for newer offerings.
Collaborate with design and engineering to create innovative, user-centric features. Stay close enough to delivery to know status without going deep-technical.
Analyze user data and feedback, develop and track metrics to measure product success, monitor launches, and drive the next iteration.
Coordinate go-to-market with marketing and operations within resource constraints, and stay abreast of sports/media digital trends.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree from a reputable university (Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or Finance).
2–5 years in product management for consumer digital platforms.
Able to stay in and manage disagreement, treats debate as normal and does not fold or disengage under pressure.
Comfort with ambiguity. Can act on incomplete information and put something on the table rather than wait.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, makes data-driven decisions.
Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills across cross-functional teams.
Proficiency in Agile methodologies, experience with analytics and monitoring tools for digital platforms.
Preferable: proficiency using Generative AI tools to work better and faster. E.g. drafting sharper PRDs, accelerating research, and supporting design and prototyping.
Plus points: understanding of the Indonesian sports market or genuine enthusiasm for football, experience with media-related digital products.
