Product Manager, Product Layer of the CTRM System

Summary

Own the full product cycle for a CTRM system: turn trader/operator role descriptions into prototypes and working widgets, validate with clients, and push solutions through to delivery using AI for drafts.

About the role

We're building an operating system for an international oil trading company. Your job is to turn role descriptions — for traders, operators, economists — into a prototype and a working widget first. And then into real-world use, not just a presentation.

We need someone who sources information themselves, makes decisions themselves, and owns the result themselves — not just discovery, not just delivery, but the full cycle.

What you'll do

  • Run the pipeline: role workbenches → screens → widgets, using AI actively for drafts
  • Build prototypes of the whole system at once, as wireframes
  • Validate descriptions and prototypes with the client's representatives, and take them through sign-off
  • Identify what services and data a widget is missing, hand it to the business layer, and push it through to an answer
  • Manage tasks in Plane by sprint, and pass through readiness checkpoints

What you need

  • 5+ years as a product manager on complex B2B systems: fintech, logistics, trading, ERP
  • Experience working on large systems, or on significant parts of large systems
  • Experience building products that real people actually use — not just in testing
  • Hands-on experience with AI tools in your daily workflow — not occasional use, but a regular practice
  • Full-cycle ownership: you source information yourself, decide fast, and own the outcome
  • Ability to pick up an unfamiliar domain through interviews and documents, quickly and without losing detail
  • Fluent Russian, working English

Nice to have

Experience in commodity trading, CTRM/ETRM, logistics, or financial operations. Experience with event-driven systems. Willingness to travel to Dubai often, or be based there.

Honest about the specifics

  • High intensity through February
  • The domain is demanding
