Air Distribution Technologies, Inc. (ADTI) is seeking a Product Manager – Architectural Products to join our Ruskin Business Segment. This role will serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) and strategic business leader for Ruskin's Architectural product portfolio. The Product Manager will be responsible for driving profitable growth, innovation, product strategy, and lifecycle management for architectural louvers, vision screens, sunshades, grilles, and other building envelope products serving commercial, institutional, and specialty construction markets.

This position requires close collaboration with architects, specification writers, consulting engineers, contractors, sales teams, and manufacturing operations to ensure our products continue to meet evolving market demands, aesthetic requirements, sustainability initiatives, and performance standards.

What You Will Do

As the Product Manager for Architectural Products, you will:

  • Develop and execute product strategies that drive revenue growth, market share expansion, and profitability.
  • Conduct market research, competitive benchmarking, and voice-of-customer activities to identify emerging trends and opportunities.
  • Own the full product lifecycle, including product planning, development, launch, growth, and end-of-life management.
  • Define product requirements, specifications, features, and enhancement roadmaps.
  • Lead new product development initiatives in partnership with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Sales.
  • Develop pricing strategies and business cases to support product positioning and market competitiveness.
  • Monitor and analyze product performance, sales trends, specification activity, and market adoption.
  • Identify opportunities for product line expansion, portfolio optimization, and innovation.
  • Support strategic initiatives focused on building envelope performance, sustainability, and architectural design trends.

How You Will Do It

  • Develop a deep understanding of architectural markets, customer requirements, and design trends impacting the commercial construction industry.
  • Build strong relationships with architects, specification writers, consulting engineers, façade consultants, and key customers.
  • Translate market insights into actionable product strategies and development priorities.
  • Create internal alignment around product vision and growth initiatives.
  • Partner closely with Engineering, Operations, Quality, Marketing, and Sales teams to bring innovative solutions to market.
  • Drive successful product launches through coordinated commercialization and go-to-market planning.
  • Evaluate promotional and marketing programs to ensure alignment with product strategy and customer needs.
  • Support specification development efforts by ensuring products are properly represented in industry standards and project specifications.
  • Represent ADTI and Ruskin at customer meetings, industry conferences, trade shows, and professional association events.
  • Serve as the product champion and technical resource for internal stakeholders and external customers.

Architectural Market Focus

The successful candidate will play a critical role in enhancing Ruskin's market leadership within the architectural building products industry by:

  • Partnering with architects, design firms, and specification writers to influence product selection during project design phases.
  • Understanding architectural aesthetics, façade integration, daylighting strategies, and building envelope performance requirements.
  • Supporting projects within commercial office, healthcare, education, hospitality, government, transportation, and mission-critical facilities.
  • Monitoring industry trends related to sustainability, energy efficiency, resilience, and modern architectural design.
  • Identifying opportunities to expand specifications and increase adoption of Ruskin architectural solutions.
  • Collaborating with the sales organization to grow market penetration across architectural channels.

What We Look For

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Business, Marketing, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of Product Management, Product Marketing, Architectural Sales, Building Products, HVAC, Air Distribution, or Building Envelope industry experience.
  • Proven success managing products through all stages of the product lifecycle.
  • Strong analytical, strategic planning, and business acumen skills.
  • Experience developing product strategies, business cases, pricing models, and growth plans.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Ability to translate customer and market insights into commercially successful products.
  • Demonstrated success working in highly collaborative, cross-functional environments.

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or advanced degree in Business, Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline.
  • Experience working with architectural building products, louvers, sunshades, screens, façades, curtain wall systems, or similar commercial construction products.
  • Existing relationships within the architectural, consulting engineering, or specification communities.
  • Knowledge of commercial construction project delivery processes and specification-driven sales.
  • Understanding of building envelope systems, sustainability initiatives, and market-driven product development.
  • Experience supporting products governed by AMCA, ASTM, IBC, LEED, or other relevant industry standards.
  • Strong understanding of product cost structures, margin management, and market-based pricing strategies.
