The Impact You Will Have in This Role:
The Enterprise Data Tribe leads the data and AI enablement journey at DTCC by building the trusted, AI-ready data foundation that powers enterprise decision-making and next-generation AI capabilities. This includes data integration, cataloging, data quality, governance, semantic layers, and emerging AI technologies.
As a member of the Product Team, you will help scale existing enterprise data capabilities while shaping and launching new capabilities that support DTCC's AI enablement roadmap, including semantic models, knowledge graphs, agentic workflows, and data marketplace solutions.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives in ambiguity, quickly learns new concepts and frameworks, and can balance operational excellence with the creation of innovative future-state capabilities.
The Product Manager Senior Associate is a hybrid Product Owner/Product Manager role within the Enterprise Data Tribe Product Team and reports to the Product Manager Director.
This individual will support and mature existing enterprise data capabilities while leading new initiatives from concept through delivery and adoption. The role includes partnering with business, technology, architecture, and engineering teams to translate emerging AI and GenAI use cases into structured product requirements, proofs of concept, and scalable roadmap initiatives.
This is a highly visible opportunity for someone seeking both the hands-on ownership of a Product Owner and the strategic influence of a Product Manager.
Leadership Competencies:
- Ownership & Accountability: Takes end-to-end ownership of initiatives, demonstrating reliability in meeting deadlines and goals with minimal oversight.
- Strategic & Analytical Thinking: Connects new initiatives and AI use cases back to the broader data and business strategy.
- Global Collaboration: Works effectively across a federated organization, ensuring all relevant stakeholders are engaged in key decisions.
- Communication & Influencing: Articulates vision and trade-offs clearly; builds consensus and brings stakeholders along without relying on formal authority.
- Innovation and Creativity: Thinks boldly, generates new ideas, and confidently pursues ambiguous, fast-moving opportunities — especially in AI enablement.
Responsibilities:
• Support and continuously improve Enterprise Data Tribe capabilities, ensuring stability, adoption, and stakeholder satisfaction.
• Independently lead new initiatives from concept to delivery by defining vision, scope, success metrics, and roadmap priorities in partnership with Product Management, Technology, and Business stakeholders.
• Own and prioritize the product backlog, translating business needs and AI enablement priorities into clear epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria for Agile squads.
• Partner with Product Management leadership to shape and execute the roadmap for AI-driven capabilities, including semantic models, knowledge graphs, agentic workflows, and Snowflake-based AI enablement.
• Serve as the day-to-day Product Owner for one or more Agile squads by facilitating backlog refinement, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and delivery execution.
• Research emerging AI and data trends, conduct proofs of concept, and convert findings into actionable roadmap recommendations and business value opportunities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across Technology, Business Units, and Data Governance to align priorities and drive adoption.
• Develop executive-ready presentations, product documentation, training materials, and communications that articulate product vision, progress, and value.
Qualifications:
• Minimum of 6 years of related experience in Product Management, Product Ownership, or Business Analysis, ideally within data, analytics, or AI-enabled platforms.
• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience as a Product Owner and/or Product Manager delivering data, analytics, or AI-enabled capabilities in an Agile environment.
• Hands-on experience with Agile tools such as Jira and Confluence.
• Working knowledge of data platforms and AI/ML concepts, including Snowflake, semantic models, semantic layers, GenAI, or agentic workflows.
• Ability to translate technical capabilities into business value and actionable product requirements.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and executive presentation skills.
• Self-starter with strong prioritization and ownership skills, capable of leading ambiguous, fast-paced initiatives from concept through delivery and adoption.
The salary range is indicative for roles at the same level within DTCC across all U.S. locations. Actual compensation is determined based on role, location, experience, skills, and other relevant factors.
