Summary

Senior Product Manager owning a product area or entire app within NordVPN, a consumer privacy product used by millions. Day to day means setting strategy and roadmap, digging into data and UX, coordinating mobile, desktop, and backend teams, and measuring whether your product bets worked.

The world’s most advanced VPN, and a whole lot more.

If you’re a curious problem-solver who carves their own path, join the team behind Threat Protection Pro, the NordLynx protocol, and the fastest VPN on the planet—tools that put privacy, security, and control back in people’s hands.

Your impact? Helping millions take back control of their online security, privacy, and data.

About the Role

You will own a product area — or an entire app — inside one of the world's most recognised consumer privacy products, used by millions of people every day.

This is not a backlog-refinment role. You own the outcomes of your domain: who it's for, how many adopt it, how many stay, and how much they like it. You decide where the biggest problems are, make strategic bets on how to solve them, and rally a cross-functional team to prove or disprove those bets in the market.

It's a wide role. You'll switch between levels constantly — strategy, data, design detail, technical trade-offs — and carry a lot of context at once. Reading churn cohorts, pushing back on a design flow, tearing apart a competitor's release and unblocking an API dependency are all part of the same day. If you like that range, you'll like it here — and you'll get the chance to build entirely new products, not only improve existing ones.

Main Responsibilities

  • Identify the main problems and opportunities in your domain using product data, user research, support signals and competitor analysis;

  • Turn those insights into a small number of strategic bets, each with a clear hypothesis, expected impact and success metrics;

  • Work with dedicated designer, analyst and tech lead to define scope that teams can actually build;

  • Set and communicate direction for your area — a vision and roadmap that connect to NordVPN's wider strategy;

  • Coordinate execution across mobile, desktop and backend teams, keeping delivery fast, sequenced and unblocked;

  • Own UX quality together with design: you have a point of view on flows, not just on requirements;

  • After release, measure the real impact, share what you learned (including when a bet fails), and adjust, double down or kill it;

  • Act as the go-to person for your domain — providing clarity, context and decisions to the team and to stakeholders;

  • Partner with research, growth, marketing, analytics, legal, security and other product teams to drive aligned outcomes;

  • Communicate progress, priorities and trade-offs.

Core Requirements

  • Proven solid experience owning a consumer (B2C) digital product, or a significant part of one, with achieved outcomes you can point to.

  • Strategic thinking. You can move from a broad business goal to a clear argument about what to build, what to ignore, and why — and defend it;

  • Fluency with data. Your decisions are driven by data. You can define metrics, structure an experiment, read the result, and dig into the "why" behind a trend instead of stopping at the dashboard;

  • Product and UX sense. You care how things feel to use, you critique designs constructively, and you know the difference between a pretty screen and an easy one;

  • Technical fluency. You can build a proof of concept and explain how it works, and you hold your own with engineers on APIs, data handling, platform constraints and delivery trade-offs;

  • Execution across teams. Proven ability to get things shipped through influence rather than authority, across several teams and platforms;

  • Awareness of the competitive landscape and the discipline to keep it current;

  • Strong sense of ownership: you take responsibility for the business result, not only for delivery.
