Product Manager
Summary
Product Manager/Product Owner for Shiji's SaaS hospitality platform in Barcelona: decomposes roadmap initiatives into epics and sprint-ready stories, owns the backlog, drives agile ceremonies and delivery with engineering, uses AI tools as a daily working partner, and keeps stakeholders and customers aligned. Core toolkit: agile, Jira/Miro/Monday, AI-assisted workflows.
- Decompose roadmap initiatives into epics, user stories, and sprint-ready tasks.
- Own and manage a prioritized product backlog based on business value, feasibility, and dependencies.
- Drive sprint planning and execution with engineering, ensuring stories are well defined, estimated, and ready.
- Lead and contribute to agile ceremonies: refinement, stand ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives.
- Define acceptance criteria and validate outcomes to ensure quality and expected behavior before release.
- Partner with UX and UI to deliver simple workflows and clear information design for dashboards and survey tooling.
- Work closely with engineering to deliver on time, manage scope, and resolve trade-offs quickly.
- Use AI tools as a daily working partner for ideation, requirements writing, research, and documentation.
- Leverage AI-assisted workflows to accelerate the full initiative lifecycle —from hypothesis to specs to Jira scaffolding.
- Apply critical judgment to AI-generated outputs and identify new opportunities to integrate AI into both the product and the process.

Communicate roadmap progress, risks, and dependencies to stakeholders and leadership with clarity. - Gather and prioritize customer feedback and feature requests, ensuring alignment with product strategy
- Ensure products follow guest data privacy and compliance requirements relevant to hospitality.
- Participate in cross-product integration decisions
Requirements
- Proven experience as Product Manager and or Product Owner in SaaS or B2B software.
- Strong ability to turn ambiguous problems into structured plans, clear requirements, and shipped outcomes.
- Strong analytical skills. You use data to prioritize, measure impact, and make decisions.
- Solid agile practice. You write good user stories, run backlog management, and support sprint execution.
- Strong communication skills with engineering, design, and business stakeholders.
- Experience with JIRA, Monday, Miro, or similar tools.
- Experience managing a multi-product or multi-module portfolio.
- Hospitality industry experience or domain knowledge (OTAs, hotel operations, guest experience).
- Experience with AI-powered products or features.
- Background in data-driven products (dashboards, reporting, analytics).
