The opportunity

We are looking for a Product Manager to own the first-party data products that enable Risk Technology. This role sits at the intersection of business, data and technology and is accountable for ensuring that trusted, usable and well-controlled data flows from multiple source systems through the central data lake into risk platforms and processes. You will maintain an end-to-end view across domains, dependencies and delivery activities, bringing together data owners, engineering teams, risk stakeholders and Data Protection Officers to turn fragmented needs into a coherent data roadmap and measurable outcomes.

Day-to-day responsibilities

  • Own the vision, strategy and roadmap for first-party data products supporting Risk Technology and its business processes.
  • Maintain an end-to-end view of data flows from multiple source systems, through ingestion and the central data lake, to downstream risk platforms and consumers.
  • Define and prioritize requirements for ETL and ELT pipelines, data ingestion, transformation, enrichment, reconciliation and distribution.
  • Establish measurable data-quality expectations and controls covering timeliness, completeness, accuracy, integrity, consistency, validity and traceability.
  • Ensure data lineage, ownership, metadata, control evidence and issue-management processes are clear, documented and auditable.
  • Translate business, regulatory and operational needs into data contracts, product requirements, acceptance criteria and a prioritized delivery backlog.
  • Coordinate dependencies and sequencing across source-system owners, central data-lake teams, data engineering, architecture, security, privacy, risk product teams and downstream consumers.
  • Build trusted working relationships with Data Owners, Data Protection Officers, engineering leads, product teams and business stakeholders, resolving competing priorities and unclear ownership.
  • Maintain a helicopter view of parallel initiatives, risks, gaps and interdependencies across domains, escalating material blockers and driving decisions to closure.
  • Define and monitor product and control metrics, including data availability, freshness, quality, pipeline reliability, incident trends and adoption.
  • Communicate roadmap status, decisions, risks and outcomes clearly to technical teams, business stakeholders and senior leadership.

Who are we looking for

You are a data-minded Product Manager who combines technical understanding with strong business judgment. You can move comfortably between detailed discussions on pipelines and controls and senior-level conversations on outcomes, risks and priorities. You create alignment across organizational boundaries, establish trusted relationships and retain the end-to-end view when delivery spans multiple platforms, teams and owners. You also have:

  • 4+ years of experience in product management, data product management or a closely related role.
  • Practical understanding of modern data architectures, ETL or ELT pipelines, data lakes, data warehouses, APIs and integration patterns.
  • Experience defining or operating data-quality controls for timeliness, completeness, accuracy, integrity, consistency, validity and traceability.
  • Ability to understand data lineage, source-to-target mappings, data contracts, reconciliation and control evidence.
  • Proven ability to manage a product roadmap and backlog across multiple teams, domains and technical dependencies.
  • Strong relationship-building and influencing skills, including the ability to align stakeholders without relying on formal authority.
  • Ability to maintain an end-to-end perspective while identifying material risks, dependencies and gaps across concurrent initiatives.
  • Experience working with data engineering, architecture, security, privacy, governance and business teams.
  • Awareness of privacy, retention, access-control and regulatory considerations when using first-party data.
  • Strong analytical, communication and problem-solving skills, with fluent written and spoken English.
