Product Marketing Specialist

Job Description

We are looking for a motivated Product Marketing Specialist to support product marketing and commercial activities within the electrical and engineering industry.

This is an excellent opportunity for a fresh graduate or early-career professional who is interested in developing a career in product marketing, business strategy and the electrical/technology sector.

The successful candidate will work closely with Product, Sales and Marketing teams to support product launches, marketing campaigns, market research, customer engagement and business reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the planning and execution of product launches, marketing campaigns and promotional activities.
• Assist in preparing product presentations, brochures, marketing collateral and other customer-facing materials.
• Conduct market research to understand industry trends, customer requirements and competitor activities.
• Support competitor analysis, including product positioning, pricing and market developments.
• Maintain product information, marketing databases and relevant business documentation.
• Assist in preparing regular sales, marketing and business performance reports.
• Analyse basic sales and marketing data using Microsoft Excel and prepare presentations using PowerPoint.
• Support customer events, seminars, webinars, exhibitions and product training activities.
• Coordinate with Sales, Product, Marketing and other internal teams to support commercial initiatives.
• Liaise with regional and global stakeholders on product information and marketing activities.
• Support customer enquiries and assist the commercial team with product-related information.
• Contribute ideas to improve product awareness, customer engagement and marketing effectiveness.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Communications or a related discipline.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Candidates with up to 2 years of relevant internship or working experience in marketing, product marketing, sales support, commercial operations or business operations are also encouraged to apply.
• Interest in electrical products, building technologies, energy management, industrial automation or engineering solutions would be advantageous.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Comfortable working with data and preparing reports.
• Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Proactive, willing to learn and comfortable working with different stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently as well as within a team.

Preferred Qualifications

Exposure through internships, university projects or previous employment in any of the following areas would be advantageous:
