Product Marketing Lead – Engineering Simulation

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Product Marketing Lead – Engineering Simulation based in the United States.

This role offers the opportunity to shape the positioning and growth strategy for a portfolio of engineering simulation software.
You’ll combine engineering expertise with product marketing to translate complex technical capabilities into compelling customer value.
Working with product, sales, demand generation, services, and channel teams, you’ll lead initiatives from strategy through execution.
Your work will influence product launches, market positioning, customer engagement, sales enablement, and overall adoption.
You’ll engage directly with technical audiences, including engineers, plant operators, and industry decision-makers.
The environment is lean and high-output, offering significant ownership and the opportunity to balance strategic thinking with hands-on delivery.
This is an ideal role for an engineering-minded marketer who enjoys turning technical complexity into differentiated stories and measurable market impact.

Accountabilities

  • Develop differentiated positioning, messaging, and value propositions for engineering simulation solutions across industries and technical applications.
  • Build a deep understanding of how engineering software supports mechanical and chemical engineering processes, design, and analysis, and translate that knowledge into compelling customer-facing narratives.
  • Create technical and commercial content, including product briefs, blog articles, technical papers, case studies, competitive battlecards, and other marketing assets.
  • Lead go-to-market planning and execution for new products, major releases, and strategic initiatives in collaboration with product management, sales, demand generation, and services teams.
  • Develop and execute customer email campaigns, including messaging, copy, and visual concepts, to drive product awareness and adoption.
  • Partner with demand generation and events teams on webinars, conferences, trade shows, and other customer and prospect engagement programs.
  • Equip global channel partners with effective marketing materials and resources to promote and sell engineering solutions.
  • Capture technical and customer use cases and transform them into commercially relevant content and messaging.
  • Conduct competitive and market analysis to identify emerging trends, opportunities, risks, and differentiation opportunities.
  • Gather and synthesize customer feedback to inform product roadmaps, positioning, and marketing strategy.
  • Develop buyer personas and customer journey insights to guide marketing programs and engagement strategies.
  • Build and maintain sales enablement resources, including presentations, product collateral, demo videos, training materials, and other tools.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations for customer meetings, sales engagements, conferences, symposiums, and industry events.
  • Represent the organization externally when engaging with technical audiences and industry communities.
  • Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, with Chemical Engineering strongly preferred.
    • 5+ years of experience in product marketing, technical marketing, or a related role within engineering software, simulation, process industries, or a comparable technical environment.
    • Strong ability to translate complex engineering concepts, product capabilities, and technical data into clear, differentiated, customer-focused messaging and business value.
    • Demonstrated experience developing product positioning, go-to-market strategies, marketing content, and sales enablement materials.
    • Strong analytical capabilities, including experience conducting competitive research, market analysis, and customer insight gathering.
    • Excellent written, visual, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and business audiences.
    • Comfortable presenting complex information to engineers, industry specialists, customers, and other technical stakeholders.
    • Ability to move fluidly between strategic planning and hands-on execution within a lean, high-output team.
    • Highly organized and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously, working with limited supervision, meeting deadlines, and maintaining a strong focus on results.
    • Collaborative and proactive approach, with the flexibility to take ownership of whatever work is needed to support team and business objectives.
    • Benefits

      • Remote work opportunity within the United States.
      • Opportunity to work at the intersection of engineering, simulation technology, product marketing, and industrial software.
      • Significant ownership over positioning, messaging, launches, content, and go-to-market initiatives.
      • Exposure to technical customers, industry events, channel partners, and cross-functional business leaders.
      • Opportunity to contribute to the growth and adoption of engineering simulation solutions across multiple industries.
      • Collaborative environment within a lean, high-output marketing team.
      • Equal opportunity workplace committed to diversity, inclusion, and fair employment practices.
