The Planet Group is looking for a Product Marketing Operations Lead to join our well-known Fortune 500 client on a 3-months contract, working remotely.
Key Responsibilitie
1. Refine the Product Marketing Operating Model
- Refine, document, and implement GTM planning, prioritization, launch, and reporting processes that improve execution and accountability.
- Develop the business rhythms, frameworks, dashboards, and operating mechanisms that enable scalable team performance.
- Problem-solve for and drive adoption of improved ways of working across Product Marketing, BG and CP, Regional Marketing, and other Global Disciplines.
2. Lead Product Marketing Portfolio and Resource Planning
- Maintain visibility into team priorities, initiatives, milestones, dependencies, and budgets.
- Identify execution risks, resource constraints, and areas requiring attention; lead problem-solving efforts within the cross-functional team.
- Partner with leadership to facilitate more complex prioritization, sequencing, and capacity planning decisions.
3. Drive Cross-Functional Execution
- Partner across Marketing, Product, Sales, Creative, Regional Marketing, and Operations teams to align goals, resources, and execution plans.
- Establish mechanisms to proactively surface opportunities, blockers, dependencies, and decision points.
- Serve as a trusted operational partner for strategic initiatives and marketing priorities.
4. Enable Go-to-Market Excellence
- Help develop and operationalize launch planning frameworks, readiness processes, and governance models.
- Drive successful launch executions by aligning stakeholders, milestones, resources, and timelines.
- Connect global strategy with regional activations and execution needs.
5. Scale Through Systems, AI, and Automation
- Implement tools, dashboards, and workflows that improve planning, visibility, reporting, insights development, and knowledge sharing.
- Leverage AI and automation to reduce operational friction, streamline recurring work, and accelerate decision-making.
- Measure adoption and business impact of new processes and systems.
6. Deliver Measurement and Insights
- Build reporting frameworks that provide visibility into initiative health, launch readiness, business priorities, and progress against goals.
- Support quarterly and annual planning processes.
- Drive continuous improvement by capturing learnings and translating them into operational enhancements.
