Product Operations Engineer | 1-Year Contract | Up to $6,400

We are looking for a Product Operations Engineer to join an AI-native Product Operations (ProductOps) pipeline. You will build and evolve the operational foundations that help product teams deliver mission outcomes for defence and government stakeholders.

What you will do:

  • Run and improve operational processes - planning cadences, governance, cross-team coordination, and playbooks
  • Maintain and improve internal ProductOps products (knowledge platform, design system, AI co-pilot, product health dashboard)
  • Work AI-native - use AI tools daily, explore and pilot new tools, and help upskill teams
  • Turn product usage data into dashboards, metrics, and actionable insights
  • Drive adoption and rollout of internal tools across product teams

What we are looking for:

  • Bachelor's or Master's in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
  • Minimum 3 years in product operations, product management, product strategy, or closely related role
  • Experience building operational capability in complex, multi-stakeholder environments
  • Comfortable with product analytics, metrics, and data-driven decisions
  • Systems thinker who works through ambiguity and designs simple, scalable solutions
  • Fluency with AI tools in a work context
  • Strong written and verbal communication

Good to have:

  • Experience building AI-assisted workflows, automations, or LLM-based tooling
  • Experience maintaining internal products, design systems, or developer tooling
  • Multi-agent orchestration experience (welcome but not required)

Contract: 1 year | Hours: Mon-Fri, 8:30am - 6:00pm | Salary: Up to $6,400/month

This role operates within a defence and government environment - you must be comfortable working within security, governance, and compliance constraints.
