This is an opportunity to work on a significant insurance technology transformation, helping migrate insurance products and policies from legacy platforms onto a strategic cloud-based insurance platform.
You'll work at the intersection of business, insurance products and technology, helping translate business needs into clear priorities and requirements for delivery teams.
This role would suit an emerging Product Owner, Associate Product Owner or experienced Business Analyst who has started moving into product ownership and is ready to take greater responsibility for defining and prioritising delivery outcomes.
The Role You'll work closely with Product, Business and Technology teams throughout discovery and delivery.
There are two streams of work — one with a stronger broker and business focus, and another focused more heavily on insurance products, technology and platform migration.
Key responsibilities include:
- Support the definition and prioritisation of product requirements and delivery outcomes.
- Work with business and technology stakeholders to understand needs, problems and priorities.
- Facilitate discovery sessions and requirements workshops.
- Develop and refine user stories, acceptance criteria and backlog items.
- Maintain and prioritise the product backlog in partnership with senior Product and Delivery stakeholders.

- Support the migration of insurance products and policies from legacy platforms.
- Work with delivery teams throughout solution design, development and testing.
- Support business acceptance, implementation and readiness activities.
- Identify opportunities to improve customer, broker and business processes.
- Support decision-making by bringing together business, product and technology perspectives.
- Explore opportunities to use AI to accelerate discovery, analysis and delivery activities.
Ideally, you'll bring:
- Experience as a Product Owner, Associate Product Owner, Business Analyst or similar delivery role.
- Experience working within Agile technology delivery environments.
- Strong requirements gathering, user story and acceptance criteria capability.
- Experience managing or contributing to product backlogs and prioritisation.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and workshop facilitation skills.
- Ability to work effectively across business, product and technology teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capability.
- Experience supporting complex technology or platform transformation.
Experience with product or policy migration, data migration or Guidewire would be highly regarded.
Strong candidates from broader Financial Services environments may also be considered where they bring relevant Product Owner, technology delivery and migration experience.
