Product Owner / Business Analyst
NewBe an early applicant- Define and prioritize the product backlog to maximize value delivery and ensure alignment with strategic objectives and customer requirements.
- Translate business and customer needs into detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and product requirements that guide development teams effectively.
- Lead cross-functional collaboration with business analysts, designers, developers, and QA teams to ensure timely and high-quality product releases.
- Act as the voice of the customer throughout the development process, validating features through user feedback, analytics, and post-release evaluations.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and customers to define success metrics, gather feedback, and continuously refine the product roadmap based on outcomes and performance data.
- Monitor and measure product performance using KPIs, analytics tools, and user insights to inform strategic decisions and identify areas for improvement.
- Drive Agile delivery by facilitating sprint planning, backlog grooming, and review sessions, ensuring the team remains focused and aligned with business priorities.
- Manage product launch and adoption plans in coordination with marketing, customer success, and implementation teams to ensure smooth roll outs and customer satisfaction.
- Continuously analyze competitors and market trends to identify opportunities for differentiation, innovation, and enhancement of existing solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering.
- Product Management certification (e.g., CSPO, PSPO) is a plus.
Skills and Experience:
- 3+ years of proven experience as a Product Owner or in a similar role within IT software projects.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycles and Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
- Demonstrated experience managing product backlogs, defining user stories, and delivering product increments in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in using tools such as Jira, Confluence, Miro, or similar product management platforms.
- Solid analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable product decisions.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience engaging both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to manage priorities, make data-informed trade-offs, and deliver high-value outcomes under pressure.
- Experience in customer-facing software products or enterprise solutions is preferred.
- Fluent in English, spoken and written.
