Product Owner for Primary ITO's Trainee Management System (Trellis) and its CRM ecosystem: leading a team of three, turning initiatives into user stories, and planning delivery of development, testing and training with internal and external stakeholders. Core technology is Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM; role is Wellington-based with flexible/hybrid working.
Salary: $125,000 - $140,000 + Package

About The Role
In this role you would be responsible for management of our Primary ITO Trainee Management System (TMS) ‘Trellis’ and applications within their ecosystem.
Tasks and responsibilities include:
- Leading a team of 3 employees.
- Developing a deep understanding of the product, its purpose, functionality, and business value.
- Taking initiatives from the Digital Manager, breaking them down into User stories or actionable projects, and working with internal and external stakeholders to implement them.
- Planning the work programme and leading the team to deliver development, testing, and training for these applications.
- Adding value by prioritising the right work, at the right time, and ensuring the team understands the rationale behind those priorities.
This is a permanent, full time role (40 hours per week, Monday to Friday), and our ideal candidate would be based out of our Wellington Office in Te Aro, but the role can be flexible within New Zealand for the right candidate.
About you
Ideally, our successful candidate will have:
- Extensive experience in business and systems analysis, in which user experience and technical design skills are essential
- Knowledge of user-centred design principles
- Technical mindset and willingness to constantly learn and create new things.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and relationship building/management skills, in addition to presentation skills
- Demonstrated ability to focus daily decisions within large product portfolio goals, including the ability to manage roadblocks and conflicts to resolutions to keep projects on track.
- Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 395 CRM.
- Experience in the fundamentals of software deployment best practices, quality assurance protocols, challenges and methodology regarding solution implementation and technical documentation and training.
