Day to day, the person owns the product roadmap and backlog in Jira, leads Agile/Scrum ceremonies, translates business needs into functional specs, and works with data/BI platforms such as Snowflake, Power BI, Azure Data Factory, and SQL.
Product Owner – Data & Cybersecurity | Lisbon (Hybrid)
At Lùkla, we are looking for an experienced Product Owner to join an international technology environment and contribute to strategic initiatives across Cybersecurity, Data, Business Intelligence, and Digital Solutions.
We are looking for a professional with a strong user-centric mindset, solid technical understanding, and proven experience managing digital products in Agile/Scrum environments.
The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and other Product Owners to translate business needs into clear functional requirements, prioritize developments, ensure the successful delivery and adoption of digital solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Ownership & Strategy
- Gather, centralize, and analyze business and user needs.
- Define and maintain the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Translate business requirements into clear and comprehensive functional specifications.
- Define and monitor KPIs to measure product performance and value realization.
- Ensure a user-centric approach throughout the product lifecycle.
Backlog & Agile Delivery
- Manage, structure, and prioritize the product backlog in Jira.
- Plan and coordinate developments with technical teams.
- Lead and facilitate Agile/Scrum ceremonies.
- Monitor delivery progress, dependencies, priorities, and business value.
- Work closely with distributed and multidisciplinary development teams.
Data & Business Intelligence
- Contribute to Data and Business Intelligence initiatives, translating business needs into actionable data requirements.
- Identify and analyze relevant data sources to support business KPIs and reporting.
- Collaborate on data modeling, data quality, governance, and access management.
- Support the definition and optimization of KPI calculations and data processes.
- Work with technologies such as Snowflake, Power BI, Azure Data Factory, and SQL.
- Monitor data quality, platform performance, source systems, and data processing activities.
Testing & Quality
- Define and execute functional testing activities.
- Test and validate new features, enhancements, and developments.
- Support unit and end-to-end testing across relevant platforms.
- Ensure delivered solutions meet functional, technical, and business requirements.
- Monitor application and platform stability in production environments.
Stakeholder Management & Adoption
- Act as a bridge between business users and technical teams.
- Facilitate communication between stakeholders with different technical backgrounds.
- Drive product adoption through documentation, training, communication, and user support.
- Manage expectations, facilitate decision-making, and ensure alignment across teams.
- Support operational activities and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Product Owner in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Strong experience delivering digital, Data, Business Intelligence, or IT products.
- Excellent knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and hands-on experience with Jira.
- Strong understanding of general IT concepts, including APIs, networking, protocols, security, and digital technologies.
- Experience gathering requirements, defining functional specifications, managing roadmaps, and prioritizing backlogs.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with data and business KPIs.
- Experience with Power BI, Snowflake, Azure Data Factory, and SQL is highly valued.
- Strong understanding of testing, data quality, governance, and application lifecycle management.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluency in both languages- English and French (Minimum B2 level).
- Be receptive to work on an hybrid model regime in Lisbon.
