We are seeking experienced Product Owners to join a large-scale digital transformation program delivering customer-centric products and services within a Federal Government environment.

Australian Citizenship and an active Baseline Security Clearance are mandatory.

About the Role

As a Product Owner, you will work closely with business stakeholders, Product Managers and Agile delivery teams to maximise product value, prioritise backlogs, define user stories, and deliver high-quality digital solutions. You will play a key role in product discovery, stakeholder engagement, roadmap delivery and continuous improvement while balancing business priorities, customer needs and technical feasibility.

Skills & Experience

• Minimum 5 years' experience as a Product Owner or similar role

• Strong Agile and Scrum delivery experience

• Experience managing product backlogs, user stories and prioritisation

• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills

• Experience working with cross-functional delivery teams

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

• Experience with Digital Service Standard principles

• Experience with Microsoft technologies (Dynamics 365, Blazor) is desirable

• SAFe, Scrum or Product Ownership certifications are highly regarded

Location

Hybrid role. Canberra-based candidates are preferred; interstate candidates are welcome to apply and may be required to travel to Canberra for planning events and occasional onsite collaboration.
