Product Owner
We are looking for a Product Owner / Analyst to join a long-term payments and FinTech programme, acting as a bridge between business stakeholders and technology teams. The role focuses on requirements analysis, product backlog management, user story creation, and supporting delivery teams throughout the full product lifecycle.
This is a business-facing position suited to professionals who combine strong analytical skills with product ownership experience and are comfortable driving product improvements in Agile environments.
Responsibilities
• Analyse business needs, define problem statements and perform root cause analysis
• Gather, elicit and prioritise functional and non functional requirements
• Capture current and future business processes and objectives
• Prepare and manage Epics and User Stories
• Manage requirements throughout the full project lifecycle
• Support backlog prioritisation and product planning activities
• Facilitate workshops, requirement gathering sessions and stakeholder meetings
• Review test plans, test strategies and test cases
• Analyse and manage defects from SIT, UAT and regression testing
• Support project delivery within agreed timelines
• Drive product improvements and enhancement initiatives
• Participate in solution design discussions and impact assessments
• Support end user training and transition activities
Requirements
• Experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst or hybrid Product Owner / Analyst
• Strong requirements gathering and analysis skills
• Experience creating Epics and User Stories
• Experience working in Agile environments
• Experience managing product backlogs and priorities
• Strong stakeholder management skills
• Experience facilitating workshops and requirement sessions
• Experience supporting software delivery projects
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Fluent English
