ABOUT GETNET
Getnet Platforms is part of Santander Payment Solutions and brings together a set of key platforms within Santander’s global payments technology ecosystem. It includes software-as-a-service capabilities across the entire payments value chain, such as account-to-account processing, FX, SWIFT connectivity, fraud management and card processing infrastructure.
It enables financial institutions, non-bank financial institutions (NBFIs) and payment service providers (PSPs) to operate, scale and evolve their payment capabilities across multiple rails, markets and regulatory environments, without the need to rebuild their core systems.
Proven at scale, including within Santander itself, these platforms provide a modular foundation that complements Getnet’s global payment capabilities to support client growth through payments.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
We are looking for someone who will treat the Product Control Model as a product. You will develop a deep understanding of its users, the operational problems it solves and the value it creates; use data and experimentation to challenge assumptions and identify opportunities; and turn those insights into a clear product vision, measurable goals and an executable roadmap.
You must be comfortable moving between product strategy and hands-on exploration — from communicating the PCM vision to senior stakeholders to using data to investigate a problem, test a hypothesis or build a lightweight proof of concept.
As a Product Owner – Product Control Model, these will be some of the key activities in your day-to-day role:
- Own the Product Control Model as a product: deeply understand its users and their operational problems, articulate its value proposition, define its vision and strategy, and translate these into measurable outcomes, a prioritised roadmap and an executable backlog.
- Partner with Domain Leads to understand operational risks across payment flows and translate monitoring and control needs into reusable PCM capabilities.
- Prioritise the Product Control Model backlog, balancing business priorities, regulatory needs and platform evolution.
- Coordinate the delivery of monitoring capabilities with the Payments Intelligence team, including metrics, detection logic, dashboards, watchers, alerts and operational analytics.
- Drive adoption of the Product Control Model across payment products, providing a consistent framework and reusable capabilities while ensuring individual payment domains retain ownership of their operational controls.
- Collaborate with IT Operations to validate monitoring capabilities, alerts and operational processes before production rollout, while avoiding duplicate monitoring.
- Define and monitor product KPIs, including adoption across payment flows, control implementation coverage and alert quality.
- Translate business and operational problems into clear product requirements and work closely with Product, Engineering and Operations stakeholders to deliver effective solutions.
- Form hypotheses about user needs, monitoring improvements and new PCM capabilities; use data, experimentation and lightweight proofs of concept to validate assumptions before committing to full-scale development.
- Explore how AI and emerging technologies can enhance the PCM, including operational analysis, anomaly investigation, signal correlation, incident support and automation, validating opportunities through rapid experimentation and proofs of concept.
- Create alignment around the PCM by communicating its vision, value proposition, goals, roadmap, priorities, progress and outcomes across Product, Engineering and Operations stakeholders.
