Product Owner - Project Procurement
Summary
Product Owner on a procurement-focused digital delivery project: translates business objectives into requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria, manages and prioritises the backlog, and supports UAT and release governance within Agile or hybrid delivery. Public-sector/e-procurement experience is a plus.
Job Description:
Key Responsibilities and Required Skills:
Experience in business analysis, product ownership support, digital transformation, or enterprise digital systems delivery.
Ability to translate business objectives into business requirements, user stories, specifications, acceptance criteria, and release documentation.
Strong understanding of product backlog management, prioritisation, Agile or hybrid delivery methodologies, user acceptance testing (UAT), and release governance.
Experience in process analysis, stakeholder management, workshop facilitation, and resolving cross-functional business issues.
Ability to collaborate effectively with business, IT, transformation, data management, development, and senior stakeholder teams.
Excellent analytical, documentation, communication, and presentation skills in English.
High attention to detail, accuracy, discretion, and strong interpersonal skills.
Additional Advantage: Experience with e-procurement, public sector procurement, MDB operations, data management, or compliance-focused digital systems.
