Salary: £56,110 - 64,743 per year
Requirements:- Proven experience as a Product Owner or backlog owner in an Agile software environment
- Strong skills in writing user stories and acceptance criteria
- Experience collaborating closely with engineers to prioritise and clarify work
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with technical and non-technical audiences
- Solid understanding of software development and how technical decisions affect a product
- Experience with enterprise, workflow, or configurable software platforms
- Exposure to AI-enabled features or AI tools in day-to-day work
- Familiarity with Agile tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps
- Experience in insurance, financial services, or another regulated industry is an advantage
- Own and prioritise the product backlog, keeping it visible and aligned with business goals
- Translate stakeholder needs into epics, user stories, and clear acceptance criteria
- Run backlog refinement and sprint planning, keeping priorities current
- Partner with engineering teams to provide clarity for delivery
- Balance new features with performance, security, and long-term maintainability
- Identify practical ways to use AI within the platform
- Report progress, risks, and trade-offs to stakeholders using delivery data

We are an established software company in South Dublin, building specialist platforms used by leading names across the insurance and financial services markets. This is a permanent Product Owner role based in Dublin, with hybrid working and an ASAP start. The salary is €65,000–€85,000.
