Position Summary
We are looking for a highly organized and product-minded Product Owner to join our team in Prishtina and work closely with our Head of Product.
In this role, you will help turn product strategy and customer needs into clear, actionable work for our engineering team. You will own and maintain the product backlog, define requirements and acceptance criteria, coordinate priorities, and make sure the team has the clarity needed to deliver high-quality product improvements.
You'll work at the intersection of product, engineering, customers, and business teams, helping ensure that we're solving the right problems and delivering features that create real value for our users.
This role is ideal for someone who combines strong analytical thinking with excellent communication and execution skills and enjoys working closely with technical teams in a fast-moving environment.
Key Responsibilities
Work closely with the Head of Product to translate product strategy and priorities into actionable initiatives.
Own, maintain, and continuously prioritize the product backlog.
Write clear product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and supporting documentation.
Collaborate closely with engineering and design throughout planning, development, testing, and release.
Ensure engineers have clear context around requirements, priorities, and expected outcomes.
Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, product reviews, and other product and engineering ceremonies.
Gather and analyze feedback from customers, internal teams, and other stakeholders to identify product needs and opportunities.
Conduct market and competitor research to support product decisions and identify industry trends.
Help evaluate and prioritize feature requests based on customer impact, business value, technical considerations, and product strategy.
Track product initiatives from initial requirements through development and release.
Validate completed work against requirements and acceptance criteria before release.
Coordinate across Product, Engineering, Sales, Customer Success, and other teams to keep stakeholders aligned.
Monitor product usage, feedback, and relevant metrics to help identify opportunities for improvement.
Identify blockers, dependencies, and risks early and work with the appropriate teams to resolve them.
Maintain clear product documentation and communicate product changes across the organization.
Qualifications & Skills
2+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, Business Analyst, or in a similar product-focused role.
Experience working directly with software engineering teams in an Agile development environment.
Strong understanding of product development processes, including backlog management, requirements gathering, prioritization, testing, and releases.
Ability to translate business and customer needs into clear technical requirements and user stories.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
Strong written and verbal English communication skills (C1 or C2 proficiency required).
Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced startup environment.
Experience with product management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Linear, Notion, or similar.
Understanding of APIs, SaaS products, developer tools, or technical infrastructure products is considered a strong advantage.
Experience conducting customer discovery, market research, or competitor analysis is considered an advantage.
