This is an opportunity to own and continuously improve digital commerce products within a fast-paced, collaborative SaaS environment.
You’ll serve as the critical bridge between business stakeholders, engineering, UX, architecture, QA, operations, and leadership.
The role combines product ownership, strategic prioritization, stakeholder management, and data-driven delivery oversight.
You’ll translate business objectives into clear product requirements, actionable user stories, and measurable outcomes.
Your work will directly influence commerce capabilities, delivery predictability, product quality, and business performance.
You’ll operate within Agile teams, using modern product and collaboration tools to guide execution from discovery through release.
Success will come from bringing clarity to complexity, influencing without authority, and consistently delivering meaningful business value.
Accountabilities:
- Own and manage the product backlog for commerce initiatives, translating business strategies into well-defined epics, features, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Prioritize initiatives according to customer value, business impact, risk, technical dependencies, and strategic objectives, while maintaining a healthy and actionable backlog.
- Define and continuously refine the product roadmap in partnership with Product Managers, business leaders, and technical stakeholders.
- Act as the primary liaison between business teams, engineering, UX/UI, architecture, QA, operations, and executive leadership to maintain alignment throughout the product lifecycle.
- Facilitate stakeholder meetings, workshops, discovery sessions, and decision-making discussions, ensuring requirements and priorities are clearly understood.
- Support Agile delivery by monitoring sprint progress, releases, dependencies, risks, delivery metrics, and product outcomes.
- Develop executive-quality reporting, including sprint and release reports, KPI dashboards, roadmap updates, RAID logs, delivery metrics, velocity reports, burndown/burnup charts, and feature adoption insights.
- Translate complex technical concepts into concise business language and provide executives with actionable recommendations, trade-offs, and performance insights.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver customer-centric digital commerce capabilities across areas such as eCommerce, retail, marketplaces, order management, payments, inventory, and fulfillment.
- Champion continuous improvement in product processes, requirements quality, prioritization, and delivery practices, with success measured through predictable delivery, stakeholder satisfaction, product quality, and achievement of business KPIs and OKRs.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline; a CSPO, PSPO, or equivalent product certification is preferred.
- 5–8+ years of experience in Product Ownership, Product Management, Business Analysis, or a closely related field, including at least 3 years working within Agile/Scrum environments.
- Proven experience delivering commerce or digital product initiatives, ideally involving eCommerce platforms, digital commerce, retail, marketplaces, order management, payments, inventory, or fulfillment.
- Strong expertise in product ownership fundamentals, including Scrum, backlog management, roadmap planning, product discovery, user story development, acceptance criteria, and prioritization frameworks such as MoSCoW, WSJF, or RICE.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with engineering, architecture, UX, QA, operations, business stakeholders, and executive leadership.
- Strong analytical and reporting capabilities, with experience developing executive dashboards, KPI reports, delivery metrics, risk reports, product performance reports, release reporting, and sprint analytics.
- Hands-on experience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, MIRO, Figma, Lucidchart, Draw.io, Microsoft Visio, Microsoft Office, advanced Microsoft Excel, Power BI, Microsoft Teams, Slack, and Zoom.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong stakeholder management, facilitation, negotiation, conflict-resolution, and influencing skills, including the ability to influence effectively without direct authority.
- Highly organized, analytical, and data-driven, with a demonstrated ability to bring structure to complex situations and make sound prioritization decisions.
- Proven track record of successful backlog management, product delivery, stakeholder alignment, and measurable improvements in delivery predictability and product outcomes.
- Final candidates must be able to successfully complete a background check.
