Product Owner (UK IT SAAS, Hybrid)

Schedule: Monday to Friday (11:00AM - 8:00PM PHT)

What are we looking for?

Skills Required:

• At least 2 years' experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or in a similar product-focused role.
• Tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline, and/or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Collaborative team player with a strong commitment to achieving shared objectives and successful project outcomes.
• Demonstrated passion for continuous improvement and process optimisation.
• Adaptable and comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-changing environment.
• Exceptional attention to detail with a focus on quality and accuracy.
• Proficient in using product and project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Aha!, or equivalent platforms.

Nice to Have:

• Certified Scrum Product Owner or other relevant qualification
• Knowledge and understanding of user-centric design principles and design thinking
• Experience of delivering SaaS solutions
• Experience and knowledge of mobile device platforms and their conventions
• Comfortable with remote working
• Experience working within the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)

What will you do?

• Collaborate closely with customers, end users, and stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into product value.
• Gather, define, and refine requirements by creating clear epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Own and maintain the product backlog, ensuring work is prioritised based on business value, customer impact, and delivery objectives.
• Partner with the delivery team during sprint planning to align priorities and clarify requirements.
• Identify, manage, and monitor cross-functional and cross-team dependencies to support smooth delivery.
• Ensure all backlog items meet the agreed Definition of Ready before entering a sprint and satisfy the Definition of Done before completion.
• Review and validate completed work to ensure it meets quality standards, business requirements, and stakeholder expectations.
• Actively participate in sprint reviews, demonstrations, and retrospectives to support continuous improvement.
• Work closely with Product Managers, Development Managers, and key stakeholders to manage risks, resolve issues, address external dependencies, and provide visibility into delivery progress.
• Serve as the primary subject matter expert for products within your portfolio, providing guidance, insights, and product direction to stakeholders and delivery teams.
