Product Platform Engineer (Contract Position)
Summary
Builds and maintains a SaaS product platform in Azure, automating deployments and ensuring security and reliability while collaborating with product managers on regulated features.
1. Participate in the full Product development including requirements gathering design development testing and deployment.
2. Work with product managers to define product features and functional requirements by interpreting local regulations
3. Investigates facts and reviews problems during the design and planning phases, displaying an understanding of products and their functionality
4. Implement best practices for software development and ensure adherence to company standards.
5. Coding skills on Python, SQL & Linux together with expertise in public Cloud based platform deployment for SaaS Products.
6. Streamline and maintain infrastructure for product and platform deployment
7. Continuously improve security, reliability, and cost-efficiency across the platform through automation and best practices.
8. Manage YAML configurations for various deployment processes.
9. In-depth knowledge of Azure networking, including VNet, Subnet, ExpressRoute, and VPN configurations.
10. High understanding of cloud infrastructure designs, patterns, and best practices
11. Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation and configuration management.
12. DevOps tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or similar
13. Containerization using Docker and Kubernetes
14. Apache Spark and big data processing
15. Real-time data integration using Apache Kafka
