Product/Project Manager - AI
About Loansure
Loansure builds the data-driven Loan Acquisition System behind direct mail and lead generation for mortgage lenders. We are standing up an internal AI agent capability: orchestrated AI agents doing real production work, starting with marketing copy production and expanding across the business. A cross-functional agile team of engineers, data scientists, and business SMEs is already in motion, alongside an external delivery partner running a proof of concept. This role owns keeping all of it on track.
Position Summary:
Loansure is building a team of engineers dedicated to agentic and AI-driven workflows — automating and augmenting work across the organization, with a particular focus on our Performance Marketing operations. That team has built real technical momentum, but it currently lacks a dedicated product function: no single owner for the roadmap, no consistent process for scoping and tracking work, and no single point of contact between engineering and the business stakeholders who depend on it. We're hiring a Technical Product Manager to close that gap — a build-it-from-scratch role that brings structure, prioritization, and stakeholder alignment to a fast-moving, highly technical team without slowing down what's already working. You'll report to Sarah Brammer on the Product team and own the relationship between engineering and the business stakeholders this team supports. This role is for someone genuinely comfortable operating in ambiguity early on, and confident enough to bring order to it.
Position Responsibilities:
- Partner with engineering leads and business stakeholders to build andmaintaina prioritized roadmap, replacing the team’s current ad hoc, project-by-project approach.
- Own scoping and definition of work — turning open-ended technical initiatives into clear epics, well-defined stories, and milestones with real end states.
- Establish consistent operating norms for the team — sprint planning, backlog grooming, and story pointing — and report progress, risks, and priorities to leadership on a regularcadence.
- Act asliaisonbetween engineering and business stakeholders when needed, translating business goals into technical priorities andrepresentingengineering constraints back to the business.
- Drive stakeholder engagement and discovery for new initiatives, ensuring every new effort has clear sponsorship and a defined outcome.
- Own the “citizen builder” process — auditing the tools and dashboards business users have built onReplitand Claude, prioritizing which are worth operationalizing, and defining the plan to get there.
Qualifications:
Required
- Hands-on experience building agentic workflowsyourself, orworking closely with teams who have — you understand what these systems can andcan’tdo, not just the concept.
- Experience as a technical product manager (or similar), working directly with engineers on fast-moving, ambiguous technical initiatives.
- A track recordof building product process — road mapping, backlog management, sprint planning — from scratch on a team thatdidn’thave one before.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with credibility across both engineers and senior business stakeholders.
- Comfortable holding real decision-making authority — expected to drive priorities and hold the team to them, not just intake and relay requests.
- Clear, direct communicator, including with stakeholders whoaren’tdeeply technical.
Preferred
- Experience with AI/ML, LLM-based, or workflow-automation products.
- Experience with performance marketing or marketing data.
- Experience managing an external vendor or contractor relationship.
- Background in mortgage, lending, fintech, or marketing technology.
