Product Quality Engineer & Test Automation - India

Open 68d posting dated 2 weeks ago

About the role

Building an enterprise-grade product demands extreme discipline and robustness in the validation phase prior to release to offer exceptional experience to our users. This role is about expanding the quality practice and ensuring reliability grows alongside development velocity.

The User Empowerment Squad

Our User Empowerment squad ensures that every user can fully and quickly unlock the value of our platform. We work at the intersection of product and community, on a mission to bridge knowledge between users and product: we create inspiring learning resources, design smooth onboarding journeys, oversee high-quality technical documentation, validate product quality and best communicate feature value. By combining technical rigor with user-centric storytelling, we empower our community to adopt, master, and advocate for our technology.

What you will do

  • Build and own the test automation of the platform enabling continuous quality assurance. Leverage AI agents and latest technologies for optimal test automation.

  • Own the responsibility for the team to achieve its quality targets:

    • 80% quality issues caught directly during the development cycle by automated tests. Manual tests are only focused on the 20% edge cases.

    • 90% customer facing releases and patches are shipped without any quality delays.

  • Establish and maintain prioritized QA roadmap aligned with VP Engineering objectives, ensuring QA team focuses on highest-risk areas, with clear ownership.

  • Implement standardized and shared quality playbook adopted across 100% of product areas, documenting defined risk categories, acceptance criteria, and test requirements for each domain.

  • Reduce average bug resolution time by 30% through joint triage, severity evaluation and validation processes.

Who you are

You are a guardian of reliability, deeply enthusiastic about providing trust in a product that evolves fast. You are intrinsically leveraging the best tools to multiply your impact and have actionable bug reports.

In particular, you bring:

  • Strong QA experience (6 year +) in complex technical software (CAE, CAD, PLM, simulation, or similarly demanding systems)

  • Applied depth in AI and agentic tools for QA and test automation, with curiosity for innovation and the ability to use it thoughtfully for meaningful impact.

  • Field knowledge in Mechanical Engineering, Physics and Machine Learning

  • Solid technical foundations (automation, CI/CD, python scripting, Playwright automations, software performance testing)

  • Reasoning deeply about product behavior to influence QA decisions

  • Seamless collaboration with developers and leadership, communicating clearly, pragmatically, and with impact.

  • Ownership of problems end-to-end and taking responsibility for the quality of what users ultimately experience.

  • A strong team spirit and builder mindset, ready to understand what our users need, deliver under uncertainty and push the boundaries of what’s possible.

We're proud to be an equal opportunity employer, and we're committed to building a diverse and inclusive environment where you can thrive.
