Food Sector Product Quality Technician in the Girona area (M/F/X) Product Quality Technician (Food Sector) in Girona An important food sector company needs to hire a Product Quality Technician (M/F/X) with experience in the food sector to join a consolidated team of 20 people, in Maçanet de la Selva (Girona). We are looking for a person with a clear plant orientation, who enjoys direct contact with production and wants to participate actively in the quality assurance of products and processes. Main functions Define, review, and update technical product specifications. Supervise quality controls of raw materials, semi-finished goods, and finished products. Manage non-conformities, incidents, and claims, coordinating with the purchasing, commercial, production, and logistics departments, as well as responding to customers. Perform visits and audits to suppliers. Manage supplier approval and evaluation processes. Ensure the correct preservation of stored products. Carry out the monitoring of campaigns and actions related to quality. Requirements Degree in Food Science and Technology, Agri-food Engineering, or similar training. Previous experience in quality departments within the food sector. Profile oriented towards the plant and with ease in working transversally with different departments. Medium-high level of English for communication with international suppliers. Driver's license and own vehicle. Availability to make occasional trips. We offer Joining a consolidated company in the food sector. Salary between €28,000 and €32,000 gross per year, depending on experience and suitability for the position. Flexible schedule with entry between 8:00 and 9:30 h and exit between 16:30 and 18:30 h. Intensive Friday mornings. Occasional possibility of teleworking when activity allows.
