Product Software Engineer – Golang & Vue.js

Responsibilities

• Take end-to-end ownership of product features from initial analysis and technical design through to implementation and deployment.
• Act as the technical point of reference and domain owner for specific product areas.
• Build and maintain software across the full stack with a heavy focus on backend engineering.
• Translate product and business requirements into scalable, maintainable, and practical technical solutions.
• Collaborate with Product Owners to make informed trade-offs between product value and technical sustainability.
• Contribute to engineering excellence in areas such as architecture, testing, CI/CD, and operational reliability.
• Share technical knowledge and mentor team members to raise the overall technical level.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on software engineering experience with a solid backend foundation.
• You have experience designing, building, and operating software in production using Docker and Kubernetes.
• You possess a good understanding of modern SaaS concepts such as API design, distributed systems, authentication, and multi-tenancy.
• You bring experience with data technologies such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Elasticsearch.
• You have worked with modern delivery practices including CI/CD and automated deployments.
• You're comfortable investigating root causes and reasoning about architectural trade-offs.
• You possess a product mindset, focusing on solving core problems rather than just implementing features.
• You are fluent in Dutch with a good command of English.

Nice to Haves

• Hands-on experience with Golang as a primary backend language.
• Experience with Vue.js for frontend interface development.
• Knowledge of large-scale data processing using Kafka or Parquet.
• Experience with object storage platforms such as Ceph S3.
• Interest in using AI to strengthen engineering practices.
